Until that point, I was on the Pro-Jimmy side, thinking he did some stupid things but nothing was THAT bad.

Do you know who might call him by his legal name? His lawyer. That wouldn't be out of the ordinary.
That's kinda what we're all thinking. We've basically been waiting for it to happen.
Don't forget the massages in his office, too. There was at least one scene of this that I can remember.
That isn't entirely uncommon about bosses and/or their mentoring ability. He's being a mentor, he seems effective in developing talent, but he's not very emotionally intelligent so they don't necessarily like him for it.
Maybe, I have the new version, plus I started reading it maybe 2 weeks ago. I could be misremembering.
It wasn't how he was depicted in the book, but maybe he has different forms?
He's as territorial as his worshipers, they shape what he does with their beliefs in what he should do.
I think we will see more of this as they expand the book story to make the show more complete. At least I hope so.
Gods can be killed like anyone else, but it's a little harder.
I think that was his people at the border protecting his believers from the evil Mexicans and their form of Jesus.
I'm pretty sure it was in the book the same way.
As long as he's not forgotten, gods always come back in some form.
It is on the nose, just as the NRA and it's supporters are on the nose. The gods don't control the believers, they just accept the belief.
I also liked the fact that they led this episode with Mr. World's sales pitch to Wednesday, one that Vulcan appears to have taken. He changed his marketing strategy and adjusted his brand with weaponry.
There's a lot of time in that book that goes undiscussed, I can see them easily restructure the show to be more episodic as Wednesday tries to recruit more gods.
Sweeney's reference to 'rubbing one out of the lamp' got me good.
When I saw this emerge, I immediately thought of all of the commenters here who were probably as jubilant as I was.
Somehow I erased the bulimia from my mind. The man is disgusting on all levels.
Well, technically, since Odin is the all-father…..
