There was a lot of story that the book seemed to leave out, and they need these things to make this storyline into an entire series.

Woden, Wodensday, Wednesday….

They can die, all gods can be killed, but if there are still believers they will come back somehow. They gain strength from belief, and it only takes a small amount for them to live, but they don't thrive without a lot of believers.

I agree, it's not really spelled out in the book, there's a lot left to interpretation.

This is correct, I just finished the book.

The gods require only what we created them to require. As time progressed, our needs and wants progressed, and the New Gods are what was borne of that progression in us.

This is what I thought, too, especially when he made that speech in this episode.

He's younger, it seems like the new gods have a weakness in that they haven't been around long, and while they have a lot of worshipers they might not have much longevity.

Bast wants that Shadow D. I'm pretty sure of it.

Jimmy crying was his way of doing the same thing to Chuck that Chuck did to Jimmy. His breakdown in front of the insurance agent will likely result in Chuck's insurance policy being reviewed, which will result in Chuck finding out about Jimmy's breakdown. I can totally see this turning into a larger issue, which

I get that. But even as someone who is thinking 'Gods' but didn't read the book, I keep seeing this imagery without any reference in the recaps and reviews.

More than that, I think, if you watch carefully. I noticed this a few times, and the more I watched the more I saw it.

Only when they constantly leave their doors open while making love so Bast can creep on them. Bast has seen some serious shit.

I'm almost surprised that the reviewer didn't mention all of the occurrences of crows during nearly every outdoor scene. They are always there, always seem to be watching. I don't know the significance, yet, but I'm thinking it has something to do with the crow Shadow's coffee grounds made.

my cat does this with one particular toy and only that toy. Then he lost it and won't do this trick again.

This is the winner.

I don't think it's because he's not smart, he's just rigid and inflexible. Jimmy can ad-lib his way through anything, Chuck has to practice speeches to make it look like he doesn't hate his brother. Chuck can't deal as well with unexpected situations, he's much better when he has some semblance of control.

It could have ended up worse for Jimmy, but since you haven't seen all of BrBa you might not know that.

Interesting thought - it's plausible if Chuck really takes it to that level.
