Quicksilver doesn't control time, he can just move really fast where time slows down for him. It doesn't make him as infallible as Hiro or Peter Petrelli, who were far overpowered for a TV show unless they were handicapped somehow - Hiro with the inability to always control time, and Peter Petrelli who didn't have

The fact that he said it like 5 times the exact same way made me laugh out loud. He's taking this shit seriously!

They're in the south, I have yet to see a winter on this show.

1) Jack isn't going on a 5-state tour with his coworker. He's also not intentionally spending time away from his family to work with her, she's a part of his life only because of his career, and it isn't like he can just fire her. Plus, the only reason she's interested is that she can sense the desperation on Jack

It's one thing for someone to hit on you, it's another thing to not tell your spouse that you're spending late nights out with an ex-liveinboyfriend.

My wife of 7 years and I agree with that. We have discussed how we argue and decided it's better to vent immediately about something we don't like and have little arguments than let it fester for years to become added on to a big argument.

I'm leaning towards Kate emulating her dad, maybe when he's still staying with Miguel, and drinks with her friends, then daddy lectures her on drinking and makes her promise to never drink and drive.

If she was a 30 yr old first time mother (which is likely accurate since it was stated by a doctor reading her chart), then the kids wouldn't be teenagers when she was 40.

I think you're taking things too literally.

Jack's drinking has nothing to do with Rebecca having to take care of him. He was clearly lonely and felt neglected by the love of his life who was out living the life with her ex-boyfriend, even if it was platonic. The kids don't need him as much anymore, and he worked himself into a rut of working long hours and

A successful weather derivatives expert is probably not going to go long without finding another job, or going into a consultancy and working for himself. Plus, I'm sure he's also taken good care of his finances.

I, for one, think the show is better for not fulfilling those expectations. It would have been boring if Jack and Rebecca met through a blind date set up by her grandma's friend. I also think it showed some background on Jack, how he decided that he's going to do whatever it takes to create the life that he dreamed

Or, she could have found a different musical outlet. Or, a band that didn't feature her ex. Or, she could have told Jack upfront.

How does Jack have this freedom? I think Rebecca made it pretty clear that if he goes back to drinking she's going to leave him. That isn't exactly freedom.

Years before, Rebecca sat Jack down and laid out exactly what she
thought of Jack going out and drinking too often. Outcome: Jack quits
drinking then and there, family is more important. It's so uncommon for
Jack to go out that his coworkers are astonished that he went to an
after-work party. He made a decision and

Agreed, they created the buzz by not divulging anything. Did they do this because they didn't know how they wanted to do it?

I tend to disagree with you on Kate. Some people gain weight more easily than others, so the show showed that. Kate didn't need to do anything wrong or have self-hatred or self-destructive thoughts in order to be a chubby kid.

There was even an announcement somewhere prior to the show airing that stated we wouldn't find out how Jack died until next season.

Good question. I have wondered the same thing.

Randall probably has enough in savings and investments to not worry about a temporary unemployment moment. He'll land on his feet.
