Maybe Henrietta is too fresh? Adalind's mother had been dead for a couple of years I think.

Haha this would be an ideal situation which unfortunately is not likely to happen.
Whether she manages to suppress the powers or not, it will be interesting to see how she navigates her relationship with Nick after this.
Great episode as a whole! I just REALLY hope they don't drag out Adalind telling Nick that her powers are coming back. They already did that last season and I DO NOT want a repeat.
Right? I didn't think that this show could get to a point where I was actually missing Adalind's presence. Especially considering how little they've had her do this season. But I definitely was.
This is exactly my problem with this storyline. Until they explain exactly how she became 'Eve' and WHY she's not just Juliette anymore, I'm just going to find it ridiculous. Especially since Bitsie said on her facebook that they didn't brainwash her. So… she's just Juliette with a new 'purpose' then? It's feeling…
Still can't get over the irony of that statement coming from Renard of all people.
No, actually, he made a deal with viktor that he would kill the king in return for the resistance getting to keep diana. He told renard that the resistance has diana but he doesn't know where she is but she's safe. But the dialogue in that scene was pretty confusing so I get why you inferred what you did.
That's something I would also be interested in seeing. Although I doubt she has had much time for that, considering all the world travelling and secret missions she's apparently been doing.
I agree, I don't think they'll develop a maternal relationship. But I can see them awkwardly bonding or at least awkwardly getting along. And THAT would be very interesting to watch.
That also brings up the possibility of an awkward Nick-Adalind-Renard triangle if Diana comes back. Where will Adalind stay? I'm presuming she will want to be with both her children. But will Renard want Diana living with Nick? Who also works for him?
Another thing… I have a feeling that the guy running for mayor is somehow part of the Wesen uprising, and THAT'S why they want Renard's support. They have some plans for him…
Although I agree that this episode was too full, and both plots would have done better as separate episodes, and the trubel plot was driven by Nick's stupidity, I still kind of enjoyed this episode. So I think the B grade is just about right for me. I'm still holding out for next week so that they can shed some more…
Over thanksgiving break I convinced my entire family to watch this show. I'm not sure why, considering half the time I don't even think I like this show, and I'm probably the least picky TV watcher in my family, but I did. After grimacing all the way through the pilot and convincing them it got better, they actually…
She committed the murders to save Frankie's life.
I completely agree with everything that you said. Add to that the fact that this behavior is completely out of character for Adalind— somebody we've seen be snarky in even the most dire situations.
I think many people have already nailed the issue with the Adalind/Nick storyline (other than the fact that it is moving WAY too fast). The grimm writers seemed to think that they had to give Adalind a complete personality transplant and take away all of her agency just so they can fall into all of these cliched…
I immensely enjoyed this episode! I think that the time leaps worked so well in progressing the narrative. I was already getting worried that this season was getting too caught up in all of these little complicated dramas and it was dragging the story down, but this episode did a good job of making things feel fresh…
I assumed she was there because she was part of the cast for so long, and she was a part of most of those 100 episodes. Also, she lives with David in portland, so it would have been weirder for her not to be there.
I agree with you about Bitsie. She seems like a nice lady, and I thought she did okay with most of the simpler stuff her character was given (although it was boring, which I mostly blame the writers for), but anytime she was required to portray some kind of complicated emotion, I just didn't buy it. Deer in the…
