That's what I got from it too. On another note, Adalind's facial expression in that awkward silence when he asked if she was married was perfect. I live for Claire Coffee's facial expressions.

Yes I noted that too. He seemed a little weird. Hopefully that comes up again later.

This episode was better than the last one, but I honestly find most grace-centered episodes to be more boring. I think that's because I feel that this show's strengths lie more in its comedy, and so the scenes with it's funniest characters (Denise, Chad, and sometimes GiGi, Zayday and Chanel) are always the best.

I hope and think that if it even happens this season, which I hope it doesn't, (Not againt the idea per se, I would just rather they wait at least until next season. There's way too much history for them to move that fast) it will happen near the end of the season. Mid season finale at the EARLIEST, but my true guess

He could easily be a member of both.

True. That was a mess, but the damage is done now. It doesn't justify creating another mess to fix it. Especially when the show seems to be in a much more interesting place now.

I think the decision to keep Adalind in the dark was mainly to illustrate that although they were being nice to her, she's not REALLY a part of the scooby gang. And although I enjoyed the Nick/Adalind scenes, I do agree with you that the writers should slow down and that there should be much more tension in their

I also don't want Juliette to be alive. I think that it would be a messy narrative choice, and I don't see how it could do anything but derail the upward momentum that this season seems to be on, because it seems impossible to bring her back without episodes and episodes filled of angst with her and nick, which would

Good point! I kind of wrote that all really quickly. I edited it into paragraphs now.

I've actually more been thinking trubel. Since there hasn't been any other indication of where she could possibly be, and we know that she turns up later due to the "this season on grimm" promo at the end of the last episode. I know a lot of people are thinking Juliette (and I also think it's a slight possibility) but

I really really enjoyed this episode. There was a lot less breathholding than in the last few episodes, but it made me extremely excited to see where the season is going.

Fair point.

I'm pretty sure the show already made a decision though. Unless something drastic happens (like michael dying or doing something unforgivable, which is possible), I'm pretty sure that Jane/Michael are endgame. If they're not then I will eat my hat. I think that's also my issue with this love triangle (and pretty much

Yeah I also found the jody scene weird because they made a joke about his black nanny (which I get was a southern jab) but then directly afterwards he's berating Mindy for not staying at home. I understand the purpose of offensive characters, but I just find Jody really disingenuous. I think it's also because it's

I know there's no way for them to ignore it completely, but Michael's plot last night was still majorly focused around his feelings for Jane and the sin rostro stuff was just kind of one the outskirts.

I really loved this episode. Although I will throw this out there (and it's probably an unpopular opinion)— Am I the only one who wishes they could go at least one episode without focusing on the love triangle stuff at all? Especially when there's so much more going on. There's still so much sin rostro stuff

Yeah, could have done without all the "Why because she's a girl's". I've found that subtle feminism is always more effective. I'm not super familiar with the source material, so I'm not sure what to expect going forward. I'll watch the next few episodes and see where it goes.

I don't know about everybody else, but I think this show would have been so much better without the time skips. It would have been interesting to see what it would have been like if the first season was them in the academy and the second season (if they got one) explored the terrorist plot. I know that they probably

I think it also has a lot to do with the way they're writing them too. To me, Katrina and Betsy are pretty much the same character except betsy is more 'badass'. I guess their point is that Ichabod has a type, but if audiences weren't digging Katrina, why would we buy into Betsy?

That's my issue with the Betsy Ross story line too. it feels like she's just literally taken the place that katrina would have filled because they wanted a love interest for Ichabod. She doesn't feel like her own separate identity. And they've done a terrible job of her characterization beyond 'typical badass female'
