If you want to know what kind of place Saville had in British popular culture, imagine a cross between Jerry Lewis, Dick Clark, Wolfman Jack and Mr Rogers. Seen as being popular with kids, significant historically when it came to introducing people to music and doing a huge amount for charity.

Couldn't see any Boris in there at all. Boris's schtick is to act like a buffoon. Trump always tries to act super competent. Boris would get out of saying something terrible by blustering and saying "Oh sozzo old chaps, I went and put my foot in it there!", while Trump just doubles down and says he was in the right.

How would Sherlock be tricked into believing a woman who spent time in his flat wasn't actually there? She'd leave all sorts of evidence behind that she'd been there.

Her, combined with Natasha Lyonne from Orange is the New Black.

Fair enough, but it's possible that the original Avengers TV show did a better job of fitting those elements seamlessly into the show and making them work. [I watched the TV show a lot but never saw the film].

"This quote appears in the chapter covering The Color Purple and Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom, neither of which feature a notable father-child relationship."

Is it the titular role because Peter's actually got tits?

Yeah, but that doesn't mean it has to be completely without humour. And for me the relentlessly grim tone of Jessica Jones, with such a nihilistic emphasis on violence and pain, didn't make for an enjoyable viewing experience.

Either they faked it, or both are far less competent than we've previously been led to believe they are.

"Last time a checked" "And last time a checked"
You're calling other people stupid? Hmm.

Hmm, maybe. I'm English with Scottish parents. I normally hear that accent referred to as RP, Received Pronunciation. I've not heard the term 'Standard British' before, though I'm not saying it doesn't exist. And shortening it to 'British' in the same sentence as the term 'Scottish' is completely unclear, if that's

If you insist they speak in the right accent one could ask why they're still speaking in English.

There were two main Nazis in Raiders – one was the German Wolf Kahler doing his own accent, and the other was the British Ronald Lacey doing a German accent. You can see the latter doing a British accent in Blackadder II as the baby-eating Bishop and Bath and Wells.

"Here’s why dwarves sound Scottish and elves have British accents"

There's only two hard and fast rules. 1) Go hard. 2) Go fast.

I won't laugh about him drawing millennials and blacks. It's possible. But he just gave a big job to the guy who runs Breitbart, the website with a section called 'Black crime'. The man in question is widely acknowledged to be a white supremacist. Other jobs are rumoured to be going to lobbyists and Trump's own family

I'd say the opposite is true for his supporters - their expectations of him are INSANELY high and he will really struggle to deliver on them. He's already walking back on promises to repeal Obamacare and build that wall. And if he announced reparations for slave descendants then his OWN supporters would be the ones

"shouldn't David Lee have sympathy for someone in a play, given his Yale theater past?"

I just practised my "Actually I'm gay" speech in front of the mirror.
I'll see myself out.

I figured they chose Wicked as a call back to Holt's 'Boston' reference to Wuntch being a witch.
