You act like you're talking about ten-year-olds rather than people of voting age. If they can vote then it's pretty likely they've held a job, and probably had to hold several, possibly at the same time. Many may not have paid mortgages, simply because they can't afford one, but many will be paying more in rent then

Well if you don't like their work then obviously there won't be any conflict for you!

Maybe, but it's not satisfying in a comic book series. Daredevil had Fisk brought down by a combination of vigilante justice, journalistic investigation, police work and the legal system. Luke Cage had all four of those failing to help anyone. Jessica Jones basically came down to just vigilante justice.

I still put LC and DD ahead of JJ, because I found JJ really depressing. The whole series was her trying to get ONE guy. No network of criminals to bring down bit by bit, just one horrible guy. And she had plenty of chances to kill him throughout the series, but didn't because she figured keeping him alive would save

My problem is that Luke Cage's finale ended up resolving nothing.

'So-called' rape epidemic? Good grief man. I spent four months in India in 1995 and even back then men were grabbing women all the time. A woman couldn't walk down the road on her own without one or more men trying to grab her.

When I was younger I'd see lots of art movies in cinemas. I sat through some really dour, slow films, like David Cronenberg's Spider, and low budget sci-fi like The Cube. Now I'm 41 with two kids and I rarely get to go. When I do, it's generally either a big budget animation like Zootropolis/Zootopia or Inside Out, or

It's kind of like moaning about James Bond films – "Oh another one". Some people like Bond movies. Spider-man is a good character, it's hardly surprising they make more Spider-man films. Though I agree that they don't need to keep re-booting them. It's not like every new Bond actor does a scene where he becomes 007.

I just watched it on Netflix and really enjoyed it.

Malvolio. Apparently the play was sometimes titled 'Malvolio', as he proved the most popular character.

Malvolio. 12th Night is much more obviously a comedy. Albeit the humour is cruel. Whereas Merchant of Venice revolves around a man facing execution.

They think Merchant of Venice is a comedy? Leaving aside jokes about Shakespeare not being funny, and leaving aside the definition of a comedy as something with with a happy ending, I didn't think Merchant of Venice was seen by anyone as a laugh-fest. But it's 25 years or so since I saw it.

Nice to hear David Krumholtz named Superbad. I always assumed Seth Rogan was a fan of You're Gonna Get Yours by Public Enemy. See these lyrics:

It reminded me of the end of Let the Right One In, when the vampire girl save the young boy from the bullies holding him underwater in the swimming pool.

Oh dear…

I managed a couple of episodes. I couldn't take Hugh Laurie with an American accent, but worse it was like a detective show where the viewer had no chance to guess the outcome. Like we didn't know who any of the 'suspects' were - House just named a bunch of diseases we'd never heard of and one of them turned out to be

Caputo apologising to his predecessor, saying the job was harder than he imagined, seemed off to me. She had enough money coming in that she was able to embezzle a load. Whereas Caputo had his budget slashed over and over and a whole bunch of problems she never had. She messed it up when things were good.

Can't you take the memory card out the phone and check its contents on another device? He's a tech guy, right?

I just had a look. Without wishing to be ungallant, I'm not sure that we're seeing her at her best there, aged 48. Full Body Massage was made almost a decade earlier, so that's still the one I recommend !
