Letterman's takedown/interview of Rod Blagojevich after his indictment was also pretty great.
Yeah, that episode was easily the best out of the entire run, and could stand on its own as a spiritual sequel to Almost Famous, especially since it was also based on Crowe's time at Rolling Stone.
There could be sharks!!
If only Homer had started that Emu farm, per Marge's advice…
Nurse Jackie was highly slept on, especially during its last couple of years. It dipped in quality after season 4, but it had one hell of a final season, especially when compared to a lot of its Showtime counterparts.
The scene (in an episode earlier than this one) with Adam taking an edible by accident was also a classic. High-acting Peter Krause is my favorite type of Peter Krause.
I liked it. The pilot was by no means mind blowing, but it wasn't supposed to be. It was clearly table-setting and a slow burn toward what we're going to see in the following 9 episodes. It didn't come of as "Louie with a female" to me; though C.K.'s directorial fingerprints were all over it, not that I consider that…
The scene described by Adlon in her conversation with the director is verbatim what happens in a scene on Californication. Tim Minchin is a lucky man.
Nancy Reagan ol' soup eatin' ass.
Shut UP! Shut UP! Shut! Shut! Shut! Shut! SHUT UP!!
^ watch that be how Kanye West describes his next album.
Upon first listen, I really do like it. It has the same issue with me that Channel Orange did, though, where a certain headspace/environment is required to fully enjoy the entire body of work. Nostalgia, Ultra is his only project thusfar that truly benefits from mere casual listens.
Many people have been saying it.
You have to assume "Party Cannon" is also what Fred Durst calls his penis.
Terry Zwigoff's direction is what made Bad Santa the cult classic it is. Him not being behind the camera automatically makes the sequel a piece of crap in my eyes.
Come to think about it, I did stick around long enough to watch Animorphs become a TV show for 10 minutes. It's why I'll never accept Shawn Ashmore as Iceman.
It was either Dil's introduction or the original voice actor for Grandpa Pickles dying that was the first "re-evaluation moment" for me.
Especially since Kenan Thompson has a long running presence on both, this is a pretty solid assessment.
Rocket Power and As Told by Ginger was the 1-2 punch of coffin nails for me.
