I'm about 38 hours into Persona 5 right now and I'm still loving it. The gameplay, the story, the soundtrack, the characters and their interactions… just everything about this game is incredible. My only complaint is I wish it was on Switch or Vita, because if it was, I'd be a lot farther in it than I am. Switch would

I need to get Snake Pass, but I'm still playing Breath of the Wild. I also have to download that new Dark Souls III DLC.

In the Switch system settings, there's an hour approximation under your profile. Last I checked, mine was over 75, which was about a week ago. So my reference to "a ton" is pretty much in the 75-100 range. Even then, I've calculated that I've completed approximately 75/120 shrines and I only ever collected about 30-40

I really wish Persona 5 was on the Vita as well as the PS4 and PS3. Or the Switch, but that's not going to happen. My personal life at present is not conducive to gaming. The Switch's versatility is the only reason I was able to play so much Zelda throughout March. Without that, I might have gotten 15-20 hours at this

Having dumped a ton of hours into Zelda, this will be a nice change of pace (though Zelda continues to be amazing as I'm wrapping up side quests). Probably the most disappointing thing about Persona 5 is that it comes out a week before Yooka Laylee, and as a huge fan of Banjo-Kazooie, I may have to put Persona 5 on

Unless they're on the Switch….

Sunsoft has some of the best NES soundtracks, bar none. Fester's Quest was a mediocre game with a phenomenal soundtrack, and the original Blaster Master really got you pumped to play.

After the election, a lot of people said things about America rejecting the prospect of a woman president in selecting Trump over Clinton. While I would be shocked if there were not at least some segment of the population that voted for sexist reasons, I think a lot of people either voted for Trump or just didn't vote

I haven't Ki Pulsed at all, so I have to imagine that's what I'm doing wrong. When I get back to the game after work tonight I'll look up how to do that. I'm usually really good at games like this (Souls/Bloodborne), but the mechanics are really unfamiliar.

I started it last night. Got through the intro mission well enough, but I'm getting killed constantly on the first main mission in the game. I also haven't settled into a grove of switching up my stance yet, which might help.

Your point about Bulk and Skull is very well taken. They were present for six seasons and actually went through reasonably well-developed character arcs. They had growth, maturing, and while they were the comedic relief, if you step back and look at how they changed over time, it's really impressive.

The variety with which they killed the monsters was definitely something that slipped my mind. I know everyone who watched it as a kid remembers the few times Titanus emerged, but mostly I remembered the Megazord delivering the finishing blow. It was definitely interesting to see that contrary to my recollection,

That's exactly how I watched it more recently and I couldn't have said it any better myself. The sole exception to this is when story arcs were serialized. The Green With Evil story arc that took place over the course of 5 episodes (and thus, a Monday through a Friday on TV) is a good example of deviation from the

I felt the trailer looked okay. I was torn on seeing the movie, and the trailer really didn't convince me that I need to see it.

I absolutely refused to see that movie for the longest time on principle because it just looked so ridiculously stupid, and the trailers (like the one with the freeze ray scene) did not appeal to me. It had "Dumb Kids Movie" written all over it. Then one day it was on TV and there was nothing else on, so I had it on

The Despicable Me ride in Universal Studios ends with a dance party ending. In fairness, the whole setup for the ride is that it's Gru's birthday, so in that one particular instance, it makes sense in context (a stark contrast to the trope's inclusion in most films), but the ride has such a great ending that the dance

Pokémon Moon for me because I'm excited for that bat thing on the cover. Apparently it has some cool moves. And yeah, I'm going Rowlet, because that's the correct answer.

I just watched the two death scenes quickly. If I wasn't out before, I'd be out now. That was just excessive, even for this show, and that's coming from a fan of Game of Thrones.

Count me among those who got out. I started watching late, so I binged seasons 1-3 pretty quick. The first half of season 4 was decent, but the back half was terrible. I watched parts of season 5, but that was it.

Thanks for the link!
