I hate to be all philistine up in here, but what's the big deal? After finally seeing this movie in preparation for the article my reaction was ultimately it was okay, but nowhere near as complex, emotionally startling, aesthetically daring, or just plain watchable as other efforts coming out of Romania at the time

Naw, Pink Cadillac is more like the ape flicks.

Yes, He's playing a vampire on that Secret Life show.

Was just about to say it's insane that Chevron is the first to die in the band.

I'd imagine that a film that most people haven't heard of like The Annunciation is more underrated.

I love that movie.

I'd argue I still need to see that movie.

Absolutely. While it's not Jarmusch's best film it still is absolutely amazing with a pretty great show of humour.

Sidney Huffman obviously.

I had two relatives (brothers of my great grandfather) work for one of the New York gangs. Pretty sure it was under Siegel's hand.

Yeah that was a stand up moment.

Maybe he just wants you to think he is dead and is really just laying in wait until the day he can rule the news.

Literally too.

Or Bill Paxton/ Pullman (and throw in Newsroom while we're at it).

I don't remember.

That would be a perfect line for one of the loud mouths in Stardust Memories to say.

A. A. Dumbass?

You joke, but that ugly ugly mug is usually the best part of a Howard joint.

I think they go as far as bed in period undies.

Tinto Brass is on the case.
