OK……….I have tried to stay away from the shadow self the vampire diaries has become of itself since it's earlier and awesome seasons, but I can't help myself to stare at a trainwreck. This show started to show its cracks in season 4 (the bore, I mean cure season) and those cracks have become gaping holes since then.

    Totally agree!!

I think Romero will be recuperating (aka sidelined), until Emma and Dylan come back, and the reveal that Norma(n) killed Emma's mother. Dylan will also discover the death of D'Uncle, too.
The one good thing about this season is with the "time jump", the younger characters are more mature, and we are getting less of the

I agree with you on all points. Even tho this is a CW show, (that includes all the required CW-ness of it all), this is way better than its grandpa Dawson's Creek!. There's a lot of Archie-bashing going on….He's boring, clueless and super average, but that's who Archie is and always has been. Their focus on him in the

Unless they re-invent it all together with a brand new and younger cast, there is no way. And if they did that, they would just be telling the same stories again, and the writers already have a problem with lack of originality.

I, too am intrigued as to what role Chick will play next season. I have to admit, when he was first introduced, I did not really like him but I have now concluded that it was likely because the B d'uncle/drug plot line was a snore. This season he has fascinated me, and I'm not sure what to think, other than I want to

Keep in mind that the plot thread of Emma's mom's disappearance is not resolved yet. I think that may still come into play.

I am also unsure why the fixation on plot holes. Yes, to an extent they are there, but every show suffers the same condition. In no way did they take away from the story. We also need to keep in mind that this finale is the beginning of the next chapter, and I have no doubt that the writers will address many things on

Dumping his medication was definitely a plot point, but also a realistic move on Norman's part. If the meds were helping him think straight at all, he would have to accept reality and that's not something he wants to do. I also don't think Norman ever really thought he was sick - maybe for a brief moment after the

Totally agree. The last thing we need is another Bradley!

Well, to start off - that was not what I expected, especially for a season finale. No camp (which I love), Norma's really dead (which I love and hate in equal measures), and no Emma (who I always miss when she is absent from an episode).

They could have easily written a lot of stuff to make more sense and be better. They did not………..all season long!

No kidding. Caroline is a mere shadow of what she once was. I agree that the actress herself seems disinterested, but I also blame the writers. Her story line has been awful. Steroline is horrible. No chemistry whatsoever. How can the writers not see how bad this is?
I really do hope that Matt is gone for good. They

I agree. I think Freya has been a great addition to the Originals. What I think is the biggest strength is that they aren't afraid to mix up the main cast (to an extent), rather than keep every original cast member and either (a) we hardly see them or (b) they get stale - both of which has happened on tVD. I will miss

I disagree. I think TO is just getting better and better. Characters get killed off (or brought back to life), as a plot mechanism, not due to their sex. I would agree that both the Cami and Davina characters could have been explored further, but they weren't and became stagnant -especially Cami. I really wish the AV

You are so right! I've always thought Enzo was too stupid to be alive, and wouldn't care (or miss him) if he was gone.

Final Everlasting?? That isn't even a creative enough name for a Big Bad (or whatever) and clearly the writers don't know what it is yet - just like they didn't know much of anything this season. Overall, this episode was what this whole season has been all along - bad.

No, it's was just another stupid B-plot. Bates has to have one every season.

True….but if handled well, a clever one.

    Mine too!!!!
