Just watched all of season 5 (life got in the way, and my must-watch Bates Motel got side-lined). Wow. I was really sceptical about season 5, especially with Norma being dead, but my apprehension was unfounded. Fantastic season, and everyone knocked it out if the park! I'm going to miss this show, and reading the

True….Opinions. mine is that they shared a friendship chemistry.

Kudos to Riverdale. This was the best ep so far. I was a bit worried with the cold opening. Don't get me wrong - it was fantastic, but I was afraid where it would go if they continued in on past the opening. But they didn't, and Jug's dream imagery of the "perfect family" was both hilarious and sad at the same time.
    I

I agree. I have found that the Originals has improved from season to season. There's some things I don't like about it, but over all, I really like the show. I hope it continues. I doubt Kat Graham would be interested in joining that show, but Bonnie would be my first pick for it.

I agree. Seasons 1-3 were must-watch television and season 4, even with all the cracks was passable. After that, Paul Wesley was pretty much line reading his way through, and the toxic Delena pairing was, well, just bad.

You're probably right. Plec's ships sometimes float, but others sink. I never got into the Stef/Care pairing. Or Enzo. At all. Ever. Hated that character. Liked seeing Bonnie happy, but not with Enzo. Had they developed Matt further, a Bonnie/Matt pairing could have been interesting.

True enough, but it just didn't work. They had eroded Caroline's character so much by forcing the Stefan - Caroline thing. I'm not a shipper at all for any couple, but I know when I see a mismatch.

    They are. Trust me.

If I could be compelled to forget most of season 5 and 6 and all of season 7 and 8, if there was any attempt between Ian and Nina to actually be professional and act like there was chemistry between their characters, and if they kept Caroline strong and interesting, I may have liked the finale.

Caroline and Stefan was never believable and would never have happened if Nina didn't leave the show in season 6

    DON'T DO IT!

You aren't numb…..Just she'll shocked by how bad the last few seasons of tVD were. In terms of the series finale, as long has you felt a hint of disappointment or a tinge of WTF are the writers doing now? then your just fine.

OK. Not as bad as I thought it would be, but still seemed rushed. They attempted to tie it all up in a neat little bow, but the bow just isn't quite right. Really loved the Bennet ancestors and Bonnie stopping the hellfire. Nice touch. Liked the glimpses of virtually everyone who was once on the show. Kind of

    That was awesome!!! LOL.

    I hope so!

Oh, and "drunk Stefan is a lightweight", but he can be stabbed (multiple times), beaten up (multiple times) and take on the devil, but one drink and it's barfy-time? Sure.

I love the originals! But for the VD finale, I'm drinking wine and taking tylonel before I watch it.

No kidding, huh? Great depiction of humanity. (Eye roll)

If I could give you multiple likes I would! Your comments are spot on!!

Agree on all points. Plus Matt's grown up hair do sucks.
