I always liked Zuko's 'significant haircut' in Avatar: The Last Airbender, when he and Iroh both cut off their top knots after cutting their ties to the Fire Nation in season 2. (Of course, his original hairstyle was heavily implied to be a symbol of his banishment.) Then his hair gradually grows out over the course

I'm currently reading 1Q84. I've only read one other Murakami book, Colourless Tsukuru Tazaki and his Years of Pilgrimage. I liked that one, so I thought I'd try another one of his books.

Yeah, I think the episodes are less frustrating if you binge-watch them. I didn't properly start watching Mr Robot until it was midway through the second season- by the time I'd finished binge-watching the available episodes, the "twist" was revealed in the most recently revealed episode. So that aspect of season 2

There's a video on youtube that compiles all of his appearances on 'The War at Home' so that his fans don't have to actually watch the show.

Yeah, I'm interested to see how the remaster adjusts some of that stuff.

I never understood why she didn't end up with the guy she was originally engaged to.

In fairness, some of the previous companions have had gender-ambiguous names- Ace, and Mel.

Isn't that kinda the same concept as Kate Plays Christine?

Yeah, looking back, the show doesn't feel very well planned out. It had lots of interesting/ cool ideas, but I think there were too many storylines and characters crammed in.

Japan has already filmed a live action Fullmetal Alchemist movie. It comes out this winter, I think. (I'm surprised an American studio hasn't bought the rights to adapt FMA, seems like it would translate better than stuff like Naruto)

It might have something to do with the fact that it would have been released without Disney's involvement if they hadn't bought Pixar in 2006. Ratatouille would have been Pixar's first film released after their original Disney contract ended. (WALL-E and Up would also have been in the works when Pixar were expecting

What comic is that panel from, if you don't mind me asking?

Season 2 is going to be 10 episodes long and will cover five books. (Which is probably for the best, that way The Vile Village gets to be in the middle of the season.)

But the oil leak was important to the big plot twist!

I'm a bit disappointed that the showrunners never really settled on a storyline for Mulan, because they had her as a recurring character for a while and never really wrapped it up.

I'd swap out Secret Life of Pets for Kubo, but yeah, this seems like a good possibility.

I'm surprised Lindsey Naegle didn't make it on there.

I think Darlene didn't necessarily understand the messages on the computer, I think it's more that the stuff she saw was inherently suspicious- a guy with Dark Army connections has been chatting with somebody in Chinese since they got back to his place, and he sent them pictures of her sleeping.

I think he's said that he has social anxiety, so he feels uncomfortable at press events (especially if he thinks the movie isn't good). IIRC, he walked out of a press event for FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

It wasn't so much that they were against doing sequels, but more that their original deal with Disney was based around producing original films. Pixar signed a deal with Disney to make 5 films, which Disney would promote and distribute. (Disney would also keep the rights to the characters, and would have the power to
