You know, everybody just wants to make fun of him and dump on the guy, but I'll be damned if I don't find his little art projects consistently interesting and enlightening about the human condition.

"Help me Oggie Ben Doggie, you're my only hope!"
Subtitling your movie "Genesis" (okay, I know it's Gynysys or whatever, but same difference) only invites unfavorable comparisons to The Greatest Story Ever Told.
I will agree on Clarke, but Courtney didn't even make enough of an impression to be considered awful. He barely made enough of an impression to be considered in the movie.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't just get to put it in Vogue like it's his choice. The magazine has editors who I presume read and signed off on it.
Wait, didn't Cameron already make Aquaman? I thought I saw a documentary about that.
To be fair to Sessions (which is more than he's apparently capable of), heroin is responsible for hundred of thousands of deaths, and countless destroyed lives.
Jeff Sessions is slightly less awful than heroin.
Yeah, but what about Hawaii?
I'm usually that stoned by 10 to 6.
Come on, you know these nerds are terrified of touching live human girls.
The one that kills me are no-touch soap dispensers.
Everybody is so critical, but I personally think this is a great device for other people to use. I dream of a future of phone people walking around with their own gags on. Maybe for people who want a truly faux-private experience, they can attach optional blinders.
Has the line between "exposé" and "cashgrab" been crossed yet?
It wouldn't have the impact because those names wouldn't have been unfamiliar to him. The impact is just humor. I don't know who watches that exchange and thinks, "Yeah, foreign names are stupid. I hate foreigners now!"
But what would they possibly have to protest about?
I get that, but I've seen that bit in the episode, and it wasn't anything like that. It's really just a joke about an idiot being an idiot. I mean, I'm not suggesting it was a great role or anything. It's a place holder to set up shtick; it's just not shtick designed to make a foreign person look foolish or exotic.
I remember that bit from King of Queens. This is the problem with lifting things out of context. It wasn't a joke at the expense of the foreign character; it was a joke about what an idiot Arthur is.
There's nothing more annoying than the person who thinks they're clever for noticing something that actually just reinforces their stupidity.
I've toyed with saying "Hieronymus".
