I'm in absolute agreement about the spinning wheels of Jeff/Annie's story but I do understand why it works in the episode. Like in the original paintball episode, Britta represented the hardass female role that is found in a lot of action movies, and her sexual tension with Jeff only added to the parodying of the…
I switched over while Community was on commercial to see the end of Bernadette and Stuart leaving the comic book shop to immediately recognize Josh Peck as the store owner.
It was much more subtle in it's 70's setting than American Hustle was.
Let the Right One In is only defined as a "horror" in the broadest sense of the word. It's such a sad and beautiful movie, which overshadows the violence.
It was which begs the question of would it have been scarier if they had made the doll an unassuming one? If they found the right doll that wasn't overtly creepy looking like the one they used in the movie but wasn't also so plain and harmless that it's kind of comical that anyone would be afraid of it?
Caught up on Community, which I found a welcome return to form. More Kevin Corrigan please.
I am the Grootest! Now I'm leaving Earth for no raisin!
The most appealing thing about this movie to me was Evil Bearded Adam Scott. I mean damn, that man is funny when he's being a dick.
That sounds like so many Dean Koontz novels.
Futurama and 30 Rock are two of my favorite shows that I've watched live from the very first seasons to the final episode.
I feel like I'm important when I say I have seen every interview of Paul Rudd on Conan and have grown to eagerly anticipate each new creative way he somehow manages to use this clip. I hope this is somehow covertly mentioned on his tombstone.
I missed how many people watch the show, can someone run the numbers again?
How do you live in a yellow umbrella?
Exactly, I liked "Bedtime Stories" more than "Rehearsal Dinner" but this episode was my favorite out of the three. Although I think there's a sliver of self-indulgence since yesterday was my birthday.
I love Heathers.
I love Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical.
I thought Gangster Squad was pretty boring and bland honestly and it made no use of Emma Stone whatsoever (any actress could have done that hollow role). Also the final shot of Josh Brolin throwing his badge into the ocean harkened back to fonder memories of Arrested Development ("Return from whence you came!"). I…
Damn if I could go back in time I'd have Showtime produce Party Down instead of Stars, then we'd have like 15 seasons.
1. I really don't understand this criticism of Gangster Squad's violence. It came out in January, which I believe was still when Django Unchained was in theaters. Perhaps its because I'm into horror movies or something but nothing about the violence stuck out to me other than being generic and expected. I know there…
I wish I had gone to Harmontown last week. Would have loved to have met Mitch Hurwitz.
