Oooh, that's a better comparison. I think pushing a kid out the window is worse - the intention there was to kill. With Lily of the Valley, Walter expected the kid to make a full recovery.

No Justified in the TCA nominations that got announced today either. This is really confusing because Walter Goggins on a weekly basis is delivering one of the best acting performances in television.

I clearly need to rewatch Band of Brothers because it seems to have been packed with a ridiculous all star cast. I watched Band of Brothers back in my heathen days of television watching so I remember nothing from it.

@avclub-da518aecddbf5c94588f53562012c452:disqus The award wasn't for the books. It was for the series. It admittedly has a nice spectrum of characters but most of them are underdeveloped and one note.

I've only watched one episode of the show because it's so well reviewed here, but that's enough to tell me it's the best reality show on television. It is absolutely amazing and and a perfect parody of the genre. If I had the slightest inclination to watch anything close to reality television it would be appointment

I'm glad. It'll be interesting to see how the entitlement is dealt with.

Okay, I'm half way through the pilot and the levels of privilege and ignorance being demonstrated by the rich parents is infuriating.

I had never realized till now that with all the new TLD's springing up, people's names can end with them.

The spring tv season is about to end so I'm in the hunt for things to watch. Pitch me on this. Why should I watch Switched at Birth? I'm a Bunheads fan as well if that's at all relevant and I enjoy realistic depictions of young adults on television.

That place is going to be worth a small fortune. I hope she's unable to sell for the time being and hangs on to it.

When the inevitable choice came along in high school of debate vs model UN it was no contest. Model UN is cool in theory, but everyone trying to get along instead of playing their countries is boring.

@Scrawler2:disqus I'm similarly surprised that this may not be universal. Has everyone forgotten that scene where she bandages his arm, and then they kiss, and then he tells her she has a nice ass, and she says thank you.

What episode was this? I like having my soul crushed by television, so I've been thinking about revisitng some of the scenes were Don and Sally share great moments together.

I dunno. I kind of want to see Pete sinking further.

She did knock on the door before unlocking it strangely enough.

I'm a little surprised that you found Sally to be an annoying teenage girl outside of this situation. She's actually proven to be a capable and responsible teenager, at least as far as we've seen which is pretty remarkable given her family situation.

I'm a little surprised that so many people think she doesn't like Megan any more.

The real estate situation in this show is pretty funny when you think about it. When moved to to the low 80s of the UES, the reaction from everyone else was if he'd moved into a swamp. I think one of the characters actually calls it a jungle.
That apartment is worth a fortune today.

I'm hoping the Emmys will at least pull a Friday Night Lights/Kyle Chandler move and give him one for the seventh season. It'll be a tragedy if the show ends without Hamm getting at least one Emmy. He's been setting the benchmark for dramatic acting on television for a while now.

Her body language and facial expressions have been incredible. I'm surprised you found her wooden.
