The Budokan show audience was comprised mostly of Japanese schoolgirls, so wrap your head around that. (Gets lost in thought thinking about an auditorium full of Japanese schoolgirls)

We got Starz for free this weekend. Finally got to see it. Light, breezy and fun. The Avengers tie-in was pretty cool. Once again, Warner Brothers and DC could learn a thing or two about lightening up a bit.

Jesus dude, a little compassion?

Awwww…I was kinda hoping it would be a wrestling match in their tighty whites. But then again that's just me.

God how I love this movie. Tight, terse and tense – not one wasted moment. Yet there's also some light moments. Bickle talking to the secret service guy is hilarious. "A secret signal for the secret service."

I'm a visual artist, so it's probably a different mindset than writing, but every once in a while if I'm stuck, getting stoned can aid in freeing me up and looking at things differently. I would never use it as a crutch, but every so often it's good at shaking up the cobwebs.

Did you try the "hole at the bottom of the popcorn bucket" trick with her?

I took a girl on a first date to see Amadeus. She completely freaked out when Salieri throws a crucifix into the fire, and couldn't get past that scene for the rest of the night. I didn't bother with a second date.

Something filmmakers today could learn a few lessons from. I'll also add that the gun play has a more realistic feel than today's thousands of rounds being sprayed everywhere and cartoonish CGI blood spatter.

Dear God, please don't let this suck.

Lynch, or Jim Jarmusch?

My thoughts exactly. I think I lasted until season 4 or 5 until the overarching stuff became a bore and bogged down the more fun aspects of the monster of the week episodes. Going to have to start checking this out again. The Chevy Impala episode sounds like a hoot. Love your avatar, BTW.

Sadly, one of my young nephews expressed interest. (Sighs)

Huh, I thought ol' "One Finger" passed away a few years back.

Considering that stormtroopers couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, I'd say it was a battle of who was the least incompetent.

Hair metal and dayglo are more formidable than you think, my friend.

Ed "Slow Tempo" Patustak, he's a session musician legend.

Bilbo Baggins…hey, waitaminute!

2. Not having a real life.

What about Wayne Newton?
