I dunno, he def deserved a nod for Django, but Marquis feels too close to the standard-SLJ-role-in-a-Tarantino-flick, even though he acted the hell out of it.

I hope The Academy recognizes this film with Best Supporting Actor for Goggins, Supporting Actress for Leigh, Actor for Russell, plus Score and Cinematography.

Around the time 'What Up With That?' and his "Hey shut up! We did this FOR YOU!" gym teacher debuted. So 2009/2010. Took him awhile though, he joined in 2003. Most of the flack Kenan gets for being unfunny is probably just from people remembering his early output on the show.

Kenan's genuine surprise at getting hit in the face with a bucket of water in the pirate sketch was the show's highlight for me. He looks right into the camera in disbelief, it's beautiful.
I believe he even ad libbed that "You're not even wet! I AM!" and you can hear Taran at the very end turn to him and laugh

Maybe it was Ferrell's presence, but "Broadway Christmas Carol" and "Hemsworth in Drag" had a mid-late 90s vibe to them. There was a relaxed, lived-in absurdity to the writing and delivery (especially Cecily with her song), and they even had actual endings! The car skidding away in the snow seemed straight out of the

He finally managed to shut that pie-hole, though. Or, rather, blast it apart.

Can we talk about how amazing that aircraft carrier scene looked? That's gotta be in the running for best artwork the show's ever accomplished.

One of the best ways the show could have signified that it's going to evolve once again would have been to move the boys up to 5th Grade. It's been a long time since they've done a school-year/grade-level jump and this episode would have been the perfect time to do that. Garrison is no longer their teacher, they have

I was initially disappointed by the lack of a big reveal or final showdown or wrapping everything up into one large statement. But then I realized South Park's been doing that for years now, it's so much more exciting to see them change things up a little.

Orlando Jones tho!

Her Whitney Huston alone should have made her a star. Those sketches were hilarious.

I expected him to reference the Jitterbug. But, after all, that number was cut from the movie.

Actually I was slightly impressed with his Ontario bully character. It's the only thing he's done so far that didn't sound like one of the same three archetypes he always plays. I was worried he was a one-trick pony.

Dennis, in the review, likened the Santa Baby short to “Tarantino-Natural Born Killers” but I felt that it was going for Gosling's recent indie output (Drive, Lost River, Only God Forgives). I've yet to catch any of those films though, but from the trailers, photos, and artwork that I have seen there's a sense of

“Why, Apollo!? WHY!?!?”

Perished in the tornado.
Actually, in the stage version of The Wiz, Toto doesn't join Dorothy in Oz.

“Brought to you by…Nap-Away. …Every kink will be out in a blink.”

You could even say they are viva forever.

There's an off-Broadway hip hop musical she was in titled Venice. It… had some…good songs. The cast recording is on Spotify.

One of the greatest musicals in Broadway history, but as an NBC Live Spectacular it would probably suffer the same fate as Sound of Music, there's no real spectacle to it.
