Their eyes glow and they speak in mumbled quotations from Obama speeches.

Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on you AGAIN! I'm a nice person! Why you gotta play me like that?

It's a gem. "This was no street kid…" and the closing statement made me howl with laughter the first time I read that thread. Thank goodness I was alone at home at the time.

…And playing the same character? Man, that's messed up!"

The perp tried to kill him with a 12-inch dildo.

Belzer did an episode or two last season, and he's looking really frail these days. I was sad to see him like that. (Not that I still watch this show or anything… *hangs head in shame*)

I can't possibly understand the reasoning behind re-releasing the books without the original art. Children are no more fragile or less perverse than they were 20 years ago.

I had to do some googling to remember Gammell's work. I loved the Scary Stories… series as a child primarily for his art. This ridiculously named blog has a nice tribute to him and collection of his artwork: http://floobynooby.blogspot…

Now I'm definitely downloading it.

I think what the study shows is that we need more men in maths and sciences. Maybe then they'll learn to understand ratios and percentages. #sarcasm #hashtag

I like my women like they are in Cormac McCarthy novels: awkwardly written, scarcely used… and then killed by falling rocks or stray bullets.

I loved the film of No Country…. I won't even dare try The Road.

"So you're telling me that the perp gets off on adding colons? Man, that's messed up!" (Ice-T's one minute of screen time that season)

Welcome! I'm always happy to pass that video along. It's a go-to of mine on crappy days. :)

Yes! And Raul Esparza (from Hannibal, Pushing Daisies, SVU, etc.). The Miscast Gala performances bring me such joy.

One of the commenters here once referred to Marni Nixon as the "original autotune." I thought that was too clever by half.

I've only heard Hepburn singing "Moon River" in Breakfast at Tiffany, and her voice was surprisingly sweet. With training, I bet she could have done a good job in My Fair Lady, but the studio probably wanted to skip all of that work and go with a voice that they knew was already perfect.

Voice lessons can definitely help with building range and power.
