I recall reading that Hepburn was disqualified for an Oscar nomination for that role because she did not do her own singing. Eliza was probably her greatest acting performance, so I could imagine her being miffed by that exemption.

I'm a Sherlock fan/apologist, but damn was your last line funny.

I rewatched that episode out of sheer masochism to see if it's as bad as I'd remembered, and it is and isn't.

Blueberry Crumblecrisp

One Hobbit year is 7 human years. Or wait… No, that's dogs. Never mind.

I really thought he'd be a one-hit wonder when "My Name Is" popped up on MTV. I also didn't think MP3's would replace CD's, so my fortune telling skills have never been especially accurate.

Meh. I preferred him before he was conceived. He's a total sell-out now.

I dunno. Benedict Wong looks like he beefed up pretty well for the part.

I may have to watch the trailer a few more times to understand your Kanye interpretation… but that would involve watching the trailer a few more times.

The last shot of the movie reveals that he was actually playing Harley Quinn the whole time.

The makers of the eventual porn parody won't have to change the title at all.

Pride and Prejudice, and yes. She seems like quite the scrapper.

I'm a huge fan of Esparza's. I was hoping to hear he'd joined this cast too. He brought so much pathos to Hannibal, and Fuller gushed about him in interviews during that show's promotion. I recently re-read American Gods and have no clue what part he could have played. Maybe the guy eaten by Bilquis…

It's "Reefer Madness" with knives.

I didn't know she acted at all, so the news was a "huh?" to me.

Makes me wonder how "Work" would sound if played with screechy violins. Probably about the same.

I'd say keep pushing through. That's the point in the book when most of Shadow (the prisoner)'s companions are revealed for who they really are. I'll admit the ending of the book is kind of anticlimactic, but there are some very good scenes after the Merry Go Round part.

Well, that's pretty random.

Pretty darn pleased about Chenoweth and Fuller working together again. She was terrific on Pushing Daisies.

Same here. :(
