I was a bit thrown off by the first episodes, which were great, but had an overeliance on plot that I wasn't expecting. And it's not that the plot or the answers aren't good, it's just that that's not what made the show so good in season 2.

I finished up the season this past week. Without giving any spoilers, I will say that this season will most certainly please viewers who were not satisfied by the lack of answers in the first season. By the end, they've solved pretty much all the mysteries that were raised. I, for one, was a bit disappointed by that

Wow, you're young here. Go play with the little kids, politics are for grown-ups.

They only covered The Following in its second season to meet their required F-grade reviews of the year.

I love these three actresses so much. I think they're probably the most unrecognized comedic cast these days. Metcalf was born to do comedy, she has this rapid-fire speech that would turn her absolutely perfect for an Amy Sherman-Palladino show (seriously, Hollywood, make that happen!). And what a pleasure it is to

I think I would like Anderson more if there wasn't any narration. Fresh Off the Boat dropped the narration this season, I think Black-ish could do it as well and nobody would care.

I bailed on this show after the first three episodes, but I decided to give it another shot this season and I'm very, very happy. And the thing is I don't even think the show changed from the pilot all that much. Though the wonderful Jenifer Lewis wasn't in it yet, all the other characters were already stablished at

Fantastic. That's actually what I'm in need. I constantly feel like I'm missing a lot of great UK stuff because it doesn't premiere in the US, so it doesn't get coverage from the critics I trust.

Haha, I didn't know that. I guess I'll start following The Guardian now.

I took it as nature being out of balance because… hey, dead people are coming back to live. I really don't think there's an explanation to it (or at least I hope there isn't).

They do follow that approach. The mystery is only important in how it affects emotionally these characters

God, this show is so, so beautiful, I even rewatched it this past month just to get ready for season 2. I literally wept throughout the final 15 minutes or so, it was just the perfect culmination of everything that came before. It was my favorite show from the year it aired along with Enlightened and it has a good

Please tell me you didn't say that based on his Oscar stint. Nobody can judge anybody based on their Oscar stint. They're just awful no matter who's the host.

They never settled for anything with the kids except that the boy was gay. To me, poor Brie Larson never had a chance. In the final season they suddenly decided that she wants to be a stewardess and tried to justify that because she wanted to stay away from Tara and her insanity, but it was clear that they just threw

I dislike season 2, to be honest. Actually, they never knew what to do with Tara's kids, they were tremendously annoying (it's a surprise that Brie Larson has turned out to be such a great indie actress afterwards).

I'm just getting into this show this week (I'm on episode 5) as I'm more prone to binge-watching than weekly watching, and the Fincher influence is quite clear, not just in terms of Fight Club, but it has some aspects of The Social Network as well. And I mean that as a compliment! The soundtrack is terrific and it's

It's sort of baffling to think about her role in the beginning of season 1 and how ultimately she became the heart and soul of that show (along with Martin Sheen, of course). She is SO good.

It was a great episode, but it doesn't leave me entirely at ease with the rest of the season (let alone the show as a whole). They can't have Janney all the time like in season 1 anymore and the show is at its best when she's around.

I agree, but at least HBO's trying new things is what I'm saying. I haven't liked any of them (going waaay back to Togetherness), but I see what they thought when they greenlighted them.

It already tanked in season 1 and yet, ABC renewed it!
