I care because his lack of remorse for his shitty behaviour and his continued success despite his shitty behaviour is dangerous. I'm sure you wouldn't be so quick to kiss his ass if you or someone you knew was involved with someone like him.

Because I am a woman, and the fact that he gloats about his mistreatment of and lack of respect for women is particularly troubling, especially when so many young girls excuse his behaviour simply because he's attractive. That's why.

Both are pieces of shit, but Chris Brown brings it upon himself by continuing to very publicly act like a dangerous piece of shit. He continues to harass Karreuche (I'm sure I'm spelling that wrong) Tran, and posts gross videos to his IG where he talks about how he will stalk a woman he's into until she gives in to

Probably, actually. This user's history consists solely of comments on Chris Brown-related articles.

And a dollop of psychopathy.

If we lived in a perfect world, no one would hit anyone. You still say that if a woman hits a man, he's justified in "defending" himself. If a man who's easily got loads of extra weight and muscle mass on a woman feels he needs to "defend" himself against her and possibly do serious damage to her, he's got major

Chris Brown has had MANY chances to clean up his act and hasn't. He's run out of slates.

A man, regardless of any sort of training, can easily mess a woman up without trying very hard.
Unless your LIFE is in danger, you don't. Hit. Women. Period. A man who justifies physically harming a woman, who, with VERY FEW exceptions, will be naturally smaller and weaker than him by saying he was "provoked" will

Your continued defence of a man who is NOTORIOUS for abusing and harassing women is evidence that you are, in fact, a douchebag.

I don't go out and "provoke" men to hit me because I'm a decent fucking human being who treats people in general with respect.
And how fucking DARE you say that to me. Wanna know something?
I've been sexually assaulted. And no, I did nothing to "provoke" it. I gave a man directions to get somewhere, he followed me

ONE LAST TIME FOR THE LEPTON.

What's the difference? You suggest that if someone provokes a man or hits him first, he's allowed to hit the person.

So you're implying that because she continued to date him, he must not have hit her?
It's common knowledge that many women stay in abusive relationships for various reasons. Because they're insecure, because they're afraid to leave the abuser, because their abuser insists it was only a "one time thing", because they

Only if I provoke it though, right?

Do humanity a favour and please don't ever reproduce.

The trailers for this made me giggle a few times. It's unfortunate that the reviews are so poor.

Ugh, I was hoping it would be songless. If they're trying to make this a grittier, more action-based film, the addition of songs will make for some real tonal whiplash. The shoehorning in of the songs in The Jungle Book remake I wasn't a fan of, and those were pretty small additions.

I owned this on cassette, and listened to it over and over. I was a really late bloomer musically, at least when it came to exploring music on my own (as opposed to what my parents or older sister were listening to), and this soundtrack probably served as my first foray into (then) contemporary music and artists

Simba is (I believe) Swahili for "lion", though. So while not the most original name for the character, it's hard to claim that Disney ripped off Kimba based on that. Apart from the deceased father and villainous uncle (and those certainly aren't tropes that are unique to Kimba), the storylines aren't very similar.

Yeah…I mean, I liked it as a kid, but I find that it does not hold up when I look back at it as an adult. It retrospect, Doug was the blandest character ever. And the amount of characters with really grating voices was just too much: Skeeter, Patti, Beebee, Roger, Doug's mom, Mr. Dink. I'm sure there were more I'm not
