While my family never bought Tahiti Treat for home consumption, my mother made sure to get me a small bottle of the stuff (and a bag of Cheetos Twisties) every Friday after school when I was a kid.

The backing track sounds cheap, like something ripped from a karaoke machine. Not impressed, especially given how over the top the film's aesthetic seems to be. This feels weirdly minimal.
While the idea of Veronica as a misunderstood, rich former bitch who sincerely wants to atone for her past is a fine 21st century take on her character, I'm liking the idea of a gay Veronica who's secretly pining after Betty more and more! Archie wants Veronica, Veronica wants Betty, and Betty wants Archie.
Yeah, the aesthetic of the show is certainly something. I kept thinking about how unnatural-looking Apa's hair looked, especially when you look at his Sharpie-black eyebrows, and wondered why the creators couldn't have tried to make it look a bit more natural, because it really is jarring against the greyness of the…
I find that everything looks too visually busy.
We could call it "A.V. Club"!
Can I join in? I've never seen it either, despite everyone I know insisting that I watch it!
Plus, the timing of her passing was awful. End of an already crappy year during the holiday season, with a Trump presidency looming over America.
Seeing Leia on those signs makes me sad all over again for Carrie's passing. I would have loved to have seen her speaking out against Trump's presidency. I'm sure she'd be tweeting zingers every day. :(
Connor started the fire!
All of which are committed by Diane.
Part of me wants a Charlie show, but I worry that a show focused on him would be too much.
Orange is the new Black-ish
It's definitely a different world, as of today. :(
Makes sense. I'd gladly welcome more shows about women, especially women of colour.
To be honest, I'd really like to see a Black-ish spin-off (or prequel?) about either Dre's childhood, or Bow's childhood. The flashback cutaways are one of my favourite things about the show.
They look like they're at a damn funeral.
Oh yeah, the poor dog "wants to go in". Stupid dumbfuck.
God, the mere thought of that movie makes me physically ill. I remember my dad renting it for me years ago, and even then, I could tell that something about it wasn't right.
LOVED Muppets Tonight. My whole family watched it religiously, from the time it was on TGIF, to when it was on FC. We still run lines from the episodes pretty often.
"Shut your dirty whore mouth, player player!" is a phrase that has managed to find its way into a surprisingly large number of conversations I've had with people. Mary Cherry is a gem.
