As someone who attended an arts program in university from 2005-2010, I can say that American Apparel's unisex zip-up hoody in purple was a particular favourite among beautiful and trendy hipster scum.

Yeah, I live in Canada, and it's been on here for a couple of months, so the headline confused me. Haven't watched it, but glad to hear it's good! Maybe I'll give it a go.

This world doesn't look lived-in. The costumes, the settings. Everything is too stylized and opulent. These poor villagers are all in beautifully embroidered cardigans and dresses. I guess the look sort of works given it's a fairy tale, but the animated film had a natural, rustic aesthetic which is lacking here.
