Agreed. Good CGI isn't a reason to see a film these days, it's the least you should expect. The reasons to see a movie are the things JW almost completely fails at.

The console war is utterly ridiculous, but defending Microsoft for being second in what's obviously a two horse race is amusing enough to comment on. Oh for a world where all games work on all systems…

"Second comes right after first!"

Because we saved your ass in World War 3.

Many do, but her storyline this season has been a dud.

"He never wanted the throne: he just wants to do his duty."

Why wouldn't they just kill them all at the dock if that was the plan?

Hannibal is literally dark - the lighting is so dim I often can't see what's going on. Great show though.

It's arguably worse as many people are spoiled without even soliciting it. But I sympathize with MrTusks, it's a bugger all the same.

Someone on Facebook posted #fuckstannis last week just as the show ended. You'd have to be an idiot to not read between the lines, so I was spoiled on that scene. I should have replied 'no, #fuckyou'.

The Thick of It was almost unbearably bleak to me because I lived in the country it was satirizing, and was directly affected by idiots exactly like that in real life. Veep is much easier to consume as light-hearted fun because all that shit is happening to people thousands of miles away.

This interview is probably common knowledge by now, but Kit Harrington has commented on his possible return (potential spoilers, obviously): http://www.digitalspy.co.uk…

I wish to God it had stayed under that cloak. I watched every episode and mostly enjoyed it but season 6 was series-desecrating stuff.

When Lost ran out of plot it had the great idea of introducing magic.

The way they handled Stannis was interesting. Yes, he got his just desserts after burning his daughter, but… he was so detached from it all. And we didn't even see his death. It was like the producers were saying 'there you go: Stannis lost but we won't let you relish it, you bloodthirsty cretins. And yeah, the

The show seems to have doubled down on its surrealism. These two episodes have been like a fever dream, and it's been fun. But I agree, the weirdness is even more satisfying when there's some foundation of basic plotting beneath it.

People are still aggravated by the Bale-Out? His apology seemed sincere enough and he's come across as ok ever since. Hell, he might even be a PR genius for winning an Oscar a year after that incident leaked.

It seems to be standard practice for superhero movies now. Blame Chris Nolan.

I was friends with Bob 'clever girl' Peck's son at school, and hung out with the family quite a bit. Given the movie had only come out a year beforehand, it took me a couple of visits not to be star-struck. In my defense I was 9, and Bob was just as cool in real life.
