I rarely post on here, but can't help but join in. HI EVERYONE. I am one of those people that half reads the article then dives to the comments for all the wit and such. I'll miss these comments. The best comment section on the internet.

This is why "Some Kind of Wonderful" is the superior movie. Keith and Watts actually made sense together.
They could spend every show talking about the women in his life instead of him, because there were a lot of them and they are all interesting (except maybe Marie Therese?). At least 2 episodes on Dora Maar, maybe 2 on Gertrude Stein.
Having had a little background into the consumer packaged good world: men were heavily involved in the invention and marketing of tampons and pads. CPG leadership is largely made of men and they tend to think they have the best solution. So that Mensez guy is full of shit that women only came up with "diapers and…
The soon to be lack of Bob's Burgers in my life is going to hurt
My roommate was using her friend's account, so I was as well. When I moved out I got my own and her friend was actually like "oh, you can keep using ours if you want." I think he liked seeing what I was watching because we have the same taste (this was before separate profiles).
Hulu does have this. It was really inconvenient on the account we were sharing with about 4 other people.
I've seen them 4 times for that reason. Granted, most were festivals, but I always go out of my way to see their set. It's just infectiously fun.
Yeah, all I want to know is where this falls on the Swanberg scale from no script to script (has be ever written a script?). I really wanted to like Drinking Buddies, but the improv killed it. It made the actors seem stilted and awkward.

In my day the kids just drank vanilla extract.
I was in Japan last year and my absolute favorite was the bottled milk tea. Much better than any iced coffee drink they sell bottled over here. I've been meaning to attempt milk tea at home, but it always seems easy to do but easy to fuck up completely.
Pitchfork is a much smaller fest than anything LCD headlined last year, so it's pretty cool. I was thinking Tribe might play Riot Fest but am happy they're doing Pitchfork. I think this will be one of the better Pitchfork lineups in years.
Eh, "Hello Sadness" is the only album of theirs where I'm tempted to skip songs. I think after the beast that was "Romance is Boring" on top of losing Aleks made "Hello Sadness" just seem lesser. It has some damn good songs, but I agree it isn't their best.
I'm not sure I'd put those as the most romantic, but I would list Nick and Nora as the best on-screen couple in film history.
All 3 of the Grant/Hepburn movies are great, but Holiday is my favorite. It was hard to find for a while, but finally made it to DVD. Thanks, TCM (I assume).
Agreed! I love both movies, but A Very Long Engagement wins in the romance department. I love the ending, which is sad but very sweet.
Yeah, they've definitely done some really great long form journalism over the last few years. The gifs of puppies pay for actual journalism.
