I haven’t seen her in anything else and I think she’s doing her job, nothing more nothing less.

Ben seemed tame in Cole’s perspective and Alison never Disneyfied Noah or Cole. From day one in her eyes, Noah was pushy, making moves on her while she wallowed in misery and Cole was a burden with too high expectations of her.

Ben seemed pretty mild to me in Cole’s perspective, too. It was just that Cole didn’t trust him and his shady situation.

The show-within-the-show is a faux Martin reboot and it seems like it’s being written by the monsters who brought us Marlon.

Ugh. Alison finally cops to constantly seeing herself as the victim in part two and then the show goes on to legitimately make her the victim one last time. Gross and the voiceover was...no

Much, much more. To the point that I was actually rooting for/moved by Nicole Kidman (never liked her), Reese Witherspoon (used to like her, had grown irritated), and Shailene Woodley (mediocre, still meh).

I think he would, but if you brought it up, he’d say it was your fault/you made him do it.

Well, I thought that’s what she was doing in response to his kiss attempt...until she jammed his hands down her pants. .

Good review, enjoyed the film. Aside from Lee’s quirks, my only complaint is that Laura Harrier was woefully miscast: passionless and not at all believable.

“Boys will be boys.”

I don’t know, so far his direct influence only seems to have harmed “bad” people.

According to the perspectives of a perma-victim and the man who loves her.

Some of these cases are less egregious than the others because the actresses wanted out, Wilson and Britton (who had creative input on the show), specifically. Beharie was royally fucked over and disrespected. Don’t know about the others.
