THIS to the millionth power. They took it to a disgusting level this season, having one of his high school students openly hitting on him in front of her classmates.

I hope not. I’m already weirded out by some painting Luisa as the biggest villain of the show.

I’ve been jaded by the show’s insistence upon making Allison the most blameless, victimized woman on earth, so I’m unmoved by her passing*, but this was a good episode.

Same.

Agreed.

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that only the brown folk were getting beaten. No one in power thought Piper deserved a pop for her Alex obsession?

Self-indulgent is the word I was looking for. My goodness, this episode felt so in love with itself, so up it’s own ass.

I don’t know if it’s you or just the same brand of person, but y’all make this comment every time they cover a Netflix show. You guys get the business model, so you should understand why you see so many articles at once.

I hate the two guards pontificating like they’re in some avant garde black box play and I’m irritated that it seems only the non-white women are suffering abuse at the guards’ hands.

I’m loving Andre. He’s really making me feel for the character.

RunGirlRun

Janelle, no, no, nooooo! All Noah does is stomp in and white pseudo-celebrity male privilege all over your shit! Run!

So...where’s the outrage that a green character is being portrayed by a white guy? Did the Beast Boy have to shut down his IG comments, too?

This is not a both sides thing, it’s part of the same issue in which dark skin is associated with masculinity and lighter skin with beauty and femininity. So of course, they’re more than happy to cast lighter skinned icons (Thurgood, Martin, Malcolm) with darker actors because they’re men, leaders, risk-takers, blah,

I ship Allison, Noah, and the bottom of the ocean. Cole and Helen deserve way better, and they’re not even the best themselves.

The most upsetting and baffling part of the show.

Alison is the worst: forever a victim, often by choice. I would love to see someone else’s perspective of the place incident because it was weird that no one there sided with her or even bothered to ask the old woman she “pushed” what happened.

Jest. The second sentence is from the Fresh Prince theme song.

Hate you.

Oh, okay! I was like “what signs did I miss?!”
