I’ve been jaded by the show’s insistence upon making Allison the most blameless, victimized woman on earth, so I’m unmoved by her passing*, but this was a good episode.

So...where’s the outrage that a green character is being portrayed by a white guy? Did the Beast Boy have to shut down his IG comments, too?

This is not a both sides thing, it’s part of the same issue in which dark skin is associated with masculinity and lighter skin with beauty and femininity. So of course, they’re more than happy to cast lighter skinned icons (Thurgood, Martin, Malcolm) with darker actors because they’re men, leaders, risk-takers, blah,…

I ship Allison, Noah, and the bottom of the ocean. Cole and Helen deserve way better, and they’re not even the best themselves.

Alison is the worst: forever a victim, often by choice. I would love to see someone else’s perspective of the place incident because it was weird that no one there sided with her or even bothered to ask the old woman she “pushed” what happened.
