I bet they won’t bring Bushmaster back in any real way. Seems like they’re getting rid of everyone interesting so Luke can shine...lol.

...long after Bushmaster declared war on her. Is he psychic or something? Otherwise, the massacre has nothing to do with his day-one obsession with her. If he had left her alone, she would have sold off the gun business and tried to redeem herself.

Yeah, I’m ready for the spinoffs.  If they do do a third season, hopefully they at least see that the audience did not take to Tilda and figure out something else. But honestly, I think they killed the show for me, getting rid of all those people.

Foreshadowing to mistrust between them, sure, but not that she’s going to try to set Shades up for Tone’s murder, which is what I was responding to.

Why can’t you stand Theo Rossi?

Looking back, the one thing the writers consistently nailed this season was relationship drama.

Super wrong. All the time.

Nah, it’s because the police captain mentioned Tone’s death when he was interrogating Mariah. Supposedly, the only living people who knew about it were Mariah, Shades, and Turk, so she smells a rat.

Isn’t DD season one when that one guy jammed his own eye on a metal spike to avoid having to answer to Fisk? That fucked me up.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Ali did know and that Tilda proved such a non-factor that it wasn’t even worth mentioning. I get a sense that the show will try to make her the Catwoman to Luke’s Batman, but both actors are so devoid of charisma and talent, on top of her character being so poorly drawn, that it’s going to

This season eliminated every tie to Harlem’s past - which was one of the most interesting parts of the show - in order to recenter everything around corny Luke and bring in Italian mobsters. They can really just end this and spin-off to Heroes for Hire and Daughters of the Dragon. Harlem as we knew it is dead.

Mariah...what they’re having her do just doesn’t fucking make sense. A superpowered man is after her, the cops are after her: who decides to take on a brand-fucking new drug enterprise while they’re under such scrutiny? What on earth would ever make Mariah turn to drugs? She loves Harlem and the only person who was

Oh gosh, writers, Mariah demanded a soda from Bushmaster so that totally makes her culpable for Mabel and Pete’s treachery! They should have just left that bit out and really made his quest for revenge just about all Stokes.

Same. They really rushed everything with her. Even from the start of the season, she was pretty much unrecognizable from where we’d last left her. She used to be smarter, craftier, and more poised. Instead of letting us see her disintegrate, they just introduced crazy Mariah and kept ratcheting up the insanity.

This show has the benefit of knowing how audiences react to Danny.

People want a second Defenders after that shit-show? Wow. I mean, I guess they should make one (but better this time), but I’m surprised there’s a real demand.

Considering how this season ended, I’m ready for them to just move on to the spin-offs.

They didn’t have to bring her back on in the first place. They could have just given her the run-around until she quit trying.

Yeah, Tilda’s reaction infuriated me. Mariah spilled this complex, heart-wrenching story and that was her response? I get it, she was a shitty mom, but I could never, ever listen to anyone reveal something like that and respond by calling them a monster. I’m probably close to the character’s age, have a shitty parent

Love this man more and more each day and so proud of him.
