Maybe but I'm not sure. What little expertise I can claim is that I grew up in Russian immigrant community, can understand the basics of the language, and did not encounter that name. "Irena" and "Natasha" are more like their "Jennifer." But then it was a heavily Jewish emmigre community so maybe that name is more

Another connection is that the blonde friend's name is the same as that of the Elizabeth from the American's birth name- Nadezhda.

The irony is that the games have generally relegated this modern day framing narrative to the side, so it's weird that it's the focus of the movie.

My mom- born in Poland- at some point decided that this is the family's official Super Bowl day food. I dunno way. But when we watch at her house, she makes it. It's so full of deliciousness and regret.

I prefer a fork because it's easier to wash.

I got two:

I'm currently finishing up my first and only play-through of the first Witcher game, which I'm playing because I love its sequels and like its books and needed to get this one down for completion.
It's dated, on an engine that was old even or its time, a kb+m PC only when I play in a living room setting, with terrible

Eh, they're good for selling stuff.
I would do those when on the phone with my wife when she was away for work or with my parents. Put the game on mute, grind the ?s until at carrying capacity, sell to merchants
It's also how I found my favorite armor in the game: Thysen (sp?). It is 100% resistant to poison. So then I

Wait what do we mean by "reconciling with his daughter?"
AFAIK, there's really only two outcomes for Baron and his family, assuming you do all related side quests:
1. Baron's wife is freed from Crones, he takes her off to some mountains to search for help to heal her mind, daughter agrees to let him do that. This

FWIW I'm currently playing the first Witcher, after having played its sequels (without the Blood & Wine) and read the books. It's definitely and OLD game and the gameplay is not fun- especially since my PC is a living-room type setup and not optimal for kb+m- but the plot of it is pretty great. Mostly I'm enjoying it

Yeah pretty much reflects my feelings as well.
"Even if it's a parody of male attitudes, why would anyone want to listen to it? Life's too short."
This, right here, yes.

Great name for a metal album, though.
"Resident Evil" by Judas Priest sounds like a thing that would have happened.

AC3, which is the most hated game in the franchise, actually has a number of gorgeous free-running sequences.

Depending on exactly which year(s) they portray, they could even have an Ezio appearance in the film without violating established lore canon (one of the handheld games had Ezio going to Spain to help Columbus out with something or other in the 1490s, IIRC).
Not that I need/want that per se, just that it's there if

One of the criticisms of the most recent game, Syndicate, from hardcore franchise fans was that it tried TOO hard to be funny. It's set in London and stars twin siblings so it's all pithy remarks steeped in sibling rivalry. It's some of the best "comedic" video game dialogue I've ever heard (yes, low bar and all that).

See that just sounds like trying to have it both ways. My guess is he's a hardcore right-winger, pro-imperialist authoritarian but is smart enough to just say that because he has to work with Hollywood and sell movie tickets to broad Americans, and may have distaste for actor celebrities spouting politics anyway.
This

I just think it's cool that folks are now praising the movie Cloud Atlas. I thought I was the only person that like that movie.

Interesting… was this before Blue Jasmine? Her character in that was frequently compared to Blanche Dubois so I wonder if you basically got to see her practice for her Oscar.

Neither is an adaptation, which is why I also consider them two parts of the same artistic experience.
The only instance I can think of where I feel someone who is truly interested in appreciating the whole story is to both read the book AND watch the film.

Assassins Creed 3
I know it's horrible and broken and stupid and the whole franchise is awful and we're all supposed to hate it but I will never not love tomahawking colonial imperialists in the face.
