How far are you into Unity? The main story is not that long.
The best thing about Unity, IMO, is the "sanbox" assassinations, where you have a couple of ways to approach the target, one of which leads to a unique kill.
I'd say if you stick to the main story, do the side missions that look interesting (I enjoyed some of

For me, and I'm guessing a lot others, I was a bit overly serious when I was younger, but then I mellowed out. Rush was and is still one of my favorite groups of all time- the different between then and now is, then if you'd have said "Rush sucks" I'd have argued; now I don't care, it doesn't matter, it's just a band.

They still play music. I saw Palmer open for Yes last year; an old acquaintance roadies for Greg Lake. All of them have played with each other in various configurations since the break-up of ELP, done various collaborations and led their own bands.

I don't think Morgan LET the guy leave with the gun. He let him go but then the guy found a gun. At this point it was too late for Morgan to do anything about it- too far away to disarm him (a thing that only really works in TV shows anyway). Morgan was lucky the guy had a moment of "conscience" and didn't shoot him

I was born in '77 and few people I know are familiar with or care about Westerns, FWIW. I happen to be a big fan and of course Blazing Saddles is my favorite comedy film of all time.
I saw it when I was a kid and I just remembered the farting and horse punching and the silly songs. Then I watched it as an adult and was

I also don't normally like Pitchfork indie rock shit but I am a fan of St. Vincent. I think it's maybe more because it's not "rock" to me, more like… pop? But… good? I dunno man, youtubes has all the songs, you know, for free.

Same audience as it was for Stewart… and Colbert.
I went to tapings of Letterman and Colbert. Before and after you sit down, they tell you over and over again to cheer and laugh and applaud wildly. It's a very overt plea and command to be like that.

Heavy research? Man I'm talking about typing "Phil Collins" in the googles and reading three paragraphs

"He seems fine. He looks like a nerd. He’s like a poor man’s Sting, right? Like they’re kind of the same?"

I take a different position on Worf for DS9- his introduction through the main arcs of the show off course for a season and killed the momentum that got going for the Dominion, Odo, and Kira.
The show runners admitted they were basically ordered to hamfist the klingons into the show due to their popularity from TNG,

I remember reading that the flags were put there to act as save points. The devs never imagined anyone would try to collect them all.

Well the 3rd Ezio game is Istanbul not Italy, but yes they were clearly milking the success of AC2.
I'm conflicted about how that all went. I pretty much agree with you on the great potential of the first game and understand the disappointment of what AC2 was. On the other hand, that game was fun as hell and my

I plan on watching this at some point because, from the perspective of most AV Clubbers, I have terrible taste:
- I actually liked Cloud Atlas. I mean, yeah, it's silly, but I was genuinely entertained.
- Babylon 5 is my favorite TV show of all time.

Yippee, another overly simplistic, context-lacking piss-taking of audiophiles.

Well Alex was hinting at it in his piece- rock 'n' roll (pop music, whatever) was, at one point, this rebellious frenetic youthful energy. I guess it hasn't been really, in mainstream circles. of a while. Museums are like the opposite of that. It's not about whether it's culturally relevant- of course it is. It's

The only thing I like about the R&R HoF is how it inspires people to do two contradictory things:
- Rant about how stupid and irrelevant it is
- Complain about which acts have been inducted and which haven't

I've been wanting a playable woman, too. I don't know how to feel about this though- we're only gonna get her for 25% of the game. It feels like a token, like "ok shut up here's your woman."

I also dislike the sci-fi modern day stuff.
I thought I was the biggest AC fanboy in the world (I genuinely look forward to all the yearly releases) but it turns out hardcore AC fanboys really really like that sci-fi modern day crap because they feel it connects everything in a driven narrative. I appreciate the idea

Of course that is possible, I'm certainly not discounting anything this early, and part of the fun of the series is how fast and loose it plays with time. It's just the impression I got from how old the main character is.
AC2 is the only game that spanned decades with one character (3 spanned more time but it had two

I'm hoping the complete lack of multiplayer- something I never cared for- will mean a better game, with all resources and energy focused on that. I also read that they claim that all the side missions will be related to the main quest of taking control of London. One peeve of some games was the randomness of side
