I love Kubrick's version, but it didn't give me nightmares like King's book did.
How often can you remember exactly where you when you read a particular book? I was 12, we were on a family vacation at the beach, and every night I would read more pages in the dark and then lie there terrified, afraid to go to sleep.
12

But if your "band" is one person it doesn't really count. You can't break up with yourself.

Thought this was a surprisingly solid late period Simpsons, so I came here just to see exactly how AV Club would shred it. Instead… A-??
Every time I think you're gonna zig, you zag, AV Club. Every time.

Yes. The guy who died was Carter. C-A-R-T-E-R.

I promise you, Carl is still very much alive.
CARTER, on the other hand…

Believe me, I've been trying to forget about Carl for years….

Carl's face got ripped off by a zombie? Awesome! And how did I miss that??

Bonus points for misspelling the last name of Sheryl Crow.

The only purpose HateSong ever serves is to ensure I never bother to check out whatever "celebrity" is doing said hating.
Is this a good song? It's alright… Very Eighties, very Prince-influenced. Will it be remembered well after this woman's career is over? Almost definitely.

I think he's a lead but damn I do love the guy. His acting is a thing of beauty.

Dale Dickey is fantastic for taking a lot of stereotypical "southern White trash" roles and really giving them dimension and heart. She was Patty (the daytime prostitute) on My Name Is Earl, Ava's jail nemesis on Justified, and the meth addict on Breaking Bad who memorably crushes her boyfriend's head with an ATM

Clearly you're not aware of the great comedic stylings of Sid Lo Truglio.

Hayden Panettiere: Not exactly known for making smart life decisions… Still smart enough to avoid this particular dumpster fire at all costs.

It's common knowledge now that Prince pulled The Black Album due to a bad acid trip where he thought God was telling him not to release it. And Warner Brothers went along with it… To the tune of destroying over a million already pressed records and compact discs. (No wonder they got so pissed when he started writing

Missing Little Mascara… And Skyway… And Sixteen Blue… And Achin To Be… Which all could have been included over a T Rex cover that wasn't even released in the Mats lifetime.

Those five hours really cost ya in likes, don't they?

So AV Club is gonna review every episode of the terrible Hand Of God, but not this?
That's one way to do it I guess…..

Yeah, AV had two chances to grade the pilot accurately and whiffed both times. Hell, even that POS Transporter reboot got a B.

On a whim I decided to start watching this tonight, and binged 3 episodes in a row before taking a break. (The show is that addictive.)
Came here to see what insight AV Club gave about the episodes, and only found Ep3. Or did I? One refresh and this rewind review just… Appears?
Are you even real, AV Club? Are you just

Eh. I liked "Head Bent Over" better when it was called "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Rap."
