The Who's "Summertime Blues" from Live At Leeds was missed too. There's a reason it appears on about 15 different Who compilations.

No offense to those "legends of live performance" like They Might Be Giants and, um, Robyn Hitchcock… But you couldn't find a spot for "Rosalita" by Bruce Springsteen?? For most of us MTV kids that was our first exposure to the "real" Bruce… Not the cheeseball dude from "Dancing In The Dark."

The beginning is just two chords back and forth. (Gmaj7 to Fmaj7)
The Candy & Ronnie changes quicker and adds that third chord at "B-B-B-Bennie & The Jets…"
Hope that helps!

Nope, it's just a slightly different chord progression in the same key (G). Listen to the beginning of the song, and then listen to the first part of the "Candy & Ronnie" bit… It's the same chord (Gmaj7). That's the tip-off.
Not sure how obvious it is unless you play an instrument though. I can usually "hear" the same

Bennie And The Jets doesn't have a key change.

Comments like this are the reason down votes are still needed.

As opposed to Ray's black hand.

Still waiting for the reviewer to like this show as much as the rest of us.

He does have the knack of not being connected to the DBs he works with. (See: Robin Thicke, Kanye West, Adam Levine…)

Who here predicted Chris Brown having a more successful career in 2015 than anyone involved with Blurred Lines?

"No, I was watching Jeopardy. Who's that girl?"

This would not come as a surprise if you'd caught Cornell signing with the Avett Brothers last year on Fallon.

So after, I'm guessing, 15 years, SNL has finally decided to steer INTO the curve that is Keenan and his laughably bad impressions? I mean, that was basically the entire premise of the monologue, right? To mock his God-awful attempt at an Australian accent?

CDs not LPs.
So basically the same CDs you can still grab for $6 apiece on Amazon.
Meanwhile, looks like my Let It Be vinyl is still worth $100+ on the secondary market. Good job, record labels!

"Domino Dancing" by Pet Shop Boys would like a word with you.

Exactly. Why try to have an intelligent discourse about a song when you can just loop one whiny verse for ten hours straight? (Yeah, that Blink 182 thing is still terrible.)

Hands down the best version is the unreleased one with Prince performing everything… From the same era as1999. Easily one of my top 5 favorite Prince outtakes.

Anyone else amused that the YT link AV Club posted is already gone?
As many times as Prince does this (42,000,030 at last count), it never gets old….

No love for Pop Life???

Or the simplest explanation: "Our experiment was a success," says U2, "because Apple paid us $100 million."
