I for one and psyched that 1) Luisa still has a chance at sane love and 2) Bridget Regan is back on my screen!

Yeah, unlike the reviewer, I was actually heavily invested in the drug lord revelations, not just because they're popcorn fun, but because of the impact it has on Luisa's life. The thought of her baggage with Rose blocking her from Susanna, an actual sane character with potential to be a sane relationship, really hit…
The cute little thing Gina Rodriguez did with her lips on the pause before "with the writing" completely made that line!
Great review! I really can't agree with more with your assessment of Wilkes; it feels like they neutered a really appealing character, and the fact that it happened right after he kissed a white woman and is a major roadblock to their romance feels especially icky.
I've loved this season as well, but I do miss having Jane intersect with the Marbella plots. But I'm sure it will happen again once the Jane and Rafael romance heats up again.
Yeah, and the actor brought a slightly battered expression to all his interactions, which was highly effective.
I hope Nadine's alive because I love the actress!
I love Petra and really want to see her happy, but she and Rafael were so toxic for each other (more her than him) last season that I can't root for them as a couple yet . It's also hard to tell how much Rafael's softer attitude to her now is really about his overwhelming desire for family, which his breakup with Jane…
Yeah, it just didn't make me laugh at all, although I thought Holt's delivery of some lines was clever. I think when the comedy is rooted deeper in characters it's funnier.
This was a turkey of an episode; I didn't laugh once and it criminally under-used Amy Santiago. I hope they get the magic back soon!
Great review! I have to agree—these two episode were leaps and bounds better than the first season, which had some great elements but often frustratingly devoted more time to the elements that didn't work.
Yes, yes, yes! Though in fairness, ANYTHING would be better than "who framed Howard Stark" as a plot line.
I see your point, but I thought the fact that Sousa gave up on Peggy and found another hot lovely woman right away was making a point about his desirability.
Yes, Wilkes is definitely the replacement for Angie, and for the reason that Peggy herself comments on—because she enjoys connecting with someone who isn't an agent or quasi-agent like both Jarvises.
Agreed, but Jason overtly and repeatedly hitting on a white woman without fear for the consequences is hard to credit, even in LA.
They also set up Ana having a badass moment of her own, given that she's been his longtime sparring partner.
This review & rating has restored some of my faith in this site. This episode was extremely mediocre, and outright terrible whenever Patty was on screen. (I really thought nothing could be worse that her part last episode. I was wrong. They made a perfectly fine character into a complete idiot willing to throw away…
A thousand times this. It was an idiotic scene, all the more so if the HZ name doesn't mean anything to you.
Yeah, seriously. Sign me up!
Yeah, anytime anyone calls Barry & Iris siblings I know they're either a rabid shipper or don't watch the show.
