Portland here, that's what us burnouts do, get oil and kief/hash and such from the dispensary, buy flower from dealers to avoid the tax, plus it's cheaper to start with. An 1/8 is like 30 plus tax at the shop, 20 from your friend, so it's better. Though some dispensaries do have $99 ounces sometimes, which is nice.
