Completely agree, thanks.

Tell me explicitly how this would be different if it was the woman having the affair or just admit your hypocrisy.

"Are you going to argue that there isn't a significant chunk of his fanbase based on how he wrote women?"

Again, your saying it's not about the cheating doesn't change the substance of your comment.

People do not build careers on being "pro-women", they build them on successful work that is well received.

Yes, she was very clear that the point of her writing was to publicly trash her ex, hurt his reputation and career and generally make his life miserable. That came through to everyone.

Alright, from your comment it seemed your statement was replying to something I said, my mistake.

One, an adulterer is allowed to right a story about fidelity, marriage or anything else. Virgins can write sex scenes and women can write from a male point of view. Nothing dishonest in any of that.

Ok, then we are in agreement. I never said women need to prove themselves less corrupt to hold proportional representation. I stated repeatedly that I believe they should, I just don't believe they are any less corrupt when holding power than men.

No, he built his career on making shows/movies people wanted to watch. His brand is: people pay to watch my stuff. If his work was strong female roles, then people must have liked the way he did that. No one builds an artistic career on not having sex with women, monogamy or fidelity.

If you mean power dynamics that exist as in we have a disparity between number of men and women who have positions of power I agree. If you mean women are somehow inherently pre-disposed to be better people when they do have power, I am unconvinced.

I don't know of any studies on the issue, but I will take your word for it on how common a problem it is.

And if he said his meetings were all just business, that would be ok?

So, if he said his relationships with women were strictly professional for 15 years of cheating, but made no mention of feminism, that would be different?

Based solely on her extremely biased statement that was clearly intended to destroy his reputation.

Alright, his wife says he had multiple affairs, I misspoke.

So, you are saying a woman sleeping with a male employee is different? Can you tell me how?

All we know is that she claims to have been diagnosed with PTSD, which she blames on her husband.

Copy.

Ok, how is any of this "subjugation"?
