Excellent write-up. Very minor point, but Grenn is dead. Not sure if that was mentioned here earlier (I scrolled through only a couple hundred of the 700+ comments).

It had to be abrupt to get the point across. If Bran was going to be kind to anyone (other than Sansa), it would be the person who accompanied him beyond the Wall for years and singlehandedly brought him back. Yet even then he couldn't muster the humanity for a proper farewell.
When you take the black, you renounce all birthrights, so technically he's still not lord of anything.
Except when Danaerys inexplicably flies Drogon directly at the goddam thing.
Hey, give them some credit…that one Deadspin article got like 50 comments that one time!
She said she was going to fight like her father, who engineered the destruction of Robb's forces under cover of a truce. That doesn't bode well for Danaerys.
They're on the other side of the continent and have to march back due to the loss of their fleet. Even assuming they immediately headed back to Dragonstone, it's going to be a while before they'd come back.
Like if butter was a fruit.
I keep seeing comments about Hostel being xenophobic. We've been making Eastern Europeans the villains in movies for decades. Liam Neeson launched the second act of his career beating up on them! As long as it's an action or suspense movie, it's perfectly fine for Eastern Europeans to be terrorists or sleazy…
"Don't be so negative! Kinja is a great commenting system. Just look at how deftly it handles the enormous volume of comments our sites get! Sometime an article might even have 50 comments!
Pumped-up kicks on aisle 5!
I think you mean, school "shootings." And don't worry about the crisis actors, they get paid every time Soros and the ACLU stage one of these.

I think he's doing just fine.
It's a nickname. Her real name is Rosemary Patricia Sebert.
I'm still sort of amazed at the change in public perception. She was often derided and ridiculed before the Dr. Luke suit, but emerged from it as a highly regarded and inspirational artist. I'm not saying she ever deserved the scorn in the first place, but it existed. Now it's like that all never happened.
um…I don't really remember much about that one. I saw it a long time ago. He plays the radio and her disapproving dad goes to jail or something? I'm sure it's really good, though!
I love My Best Friend's Wedding! I think it may be the only romantic comedy I even care about, much less adore. The moment slipping away while they're on the boat always gets me. And the fact that Julia Roberts fails to get the guy in humiliating fashion certainly defied the genre convention.
If anything, this article shows how "trolling" is becoming so broad as to become meaningless, kind of like the what's happened to "fake news." From what I remember, the show was about absurdism, anti-comedy and, yes, some pranks/fake interviews. That is not trolling (or "proto-trolling" or whatever the hell). I mean, a…
It goes to show how much of a difference a good director can make in a horror film. I've been saying for a while that Sandberg could pull a Flanagan with Annabelle: Creation. I'm really happy for him that he appears to have succeeded.
I swear the national obsession with avocado is some weird mass delusion in which everyone's convinced each other how great it is. The texture is unpleasant and it doesn't have a vibrant or complex flavor, yet everyone needs you to know that it's so amaaazing.
