He's way too smart to leave the tape in with the play button pressed.

what is wrong with that lady's face?
Paul Giamatti's Rhino was pretty bad, too. But nothing is worse than Peter finding out that his parents were secret spies or whatever the hell that was.
Garfield was okay, but "perfect" is a bit much. He was fine as Spider-Man, but I didn't really buy him as Peter Parker. The problem is that he didn't seem like a vulnerable nerd or geek at all. He's a tall, handsome guy, and Spider-Man isn't supposed to be "hunky." They tried to make him an outcast (because he likes…
I always read directors' defenses such as this and wonder if they realize that a script, moral or theme isn't an actual movie.
haha…that is a deep dive.
Interesting. I did not know that. My point was almost contradicted, but it survives just barely.
But I really want to see Rampage so that one doesn't count.
I liked it, but not as much as most other people did. It bothers me when time-travel movies don't explain causality. For example, Hector makes hand-goggles simply because he saw himself do it before, with no real reason for ever having done it in the first place. I feel like it's a violation of time-travel-movie…
How did you reach that conclusion? That movie was bleak as hell. Certainly no one was sitting around and talking about feelings. They were too busy getting beheaded, or doing the beheading. The only "feeling" in the movie, if you can call it that, was profound loss.
Did you ever see the guy who sings "All Star" over any other song? It's both amusing and weirdly fascinating:
Nah, a lot of people swear by that film. I've often said that if you took the exact same movie and told people it was directed by Michael Bay, they'd detest it.
Let's do the time jump again!
Let's do the time jump agaaaain!
I don't think it's about being above shame, but losing his connection to humanity altogether. He wears less and less clothing as the story progresses as he becomes more distant and alienated from the human race. To a god, there is no point in wearing clothes, having relationships or experiencing emotions.
and that's why you'll be sitting in class while all your friends are out enjoying their summers.
c'mon man. you can do better than "haha, she's fat."
I had no idea Spirited Away was Japan's all-time highest-grossing movie. That's incredible. I can't imagine an animated movie ever being close to that position in America, even a Pixar or Disney movie. The closest is Finding Dory at #8, and that only made half as much as #1, the Force Awakens.
Ah, that's right. Thanks!
Or that "Imogen Poots" starred in 28 Weeks Later with "Mackintosh Muggleton."
The Sacrament had a script and there was actually very little improvisation. The fact that it felt unscripted is a tribute to its brilliance.
