I thought that maybe the giant was named "Mastadon" in the books.

The only flaw in this premise is the idea that Sandler in any way wants to turn his career around or improve in some way.

I think the problem is that its for a theater audience. Theyre being very loud, and "big," to reach the people in the back row.

Sorry, I wasnt trying to be confrontational, I was just trying to give a practical, business reason for their decision to cover things the way they do.

Did he do the cover art?

The hell with Puff - All Hail Piff the Magic Dragon.

That's a valid point.

“an introduction to many of the female illustrators/creators attending the convention”

The people reacting this way are forgetting that the stated purpose, or one of the purposes, was “an introduction to many of the female illustrators/creators attending the convention."

Learn to self-edit. Nobody could slog through all that.

Psst! Say yes!

They do that with all the shows they cover that get dumped at once, like House of Cards and Daredevil.

Once I saw how they were going to portray Manson, in his first scene, I was out. History has shown that he was a somewhat charismatic nobody who was preying on the weak and mentally ill. He wasn't any kind of mastermind or svengali, though I can understand why they would portray him that way.

I don't think the lawsuit is to make a point. I think it's to get the money. The studio system is pretty notorious for only paying what you can make them pay at legal gunpoint.

I wasn't able to slog through every word of that, but I did skim it, and I came away thinking that it's hardly a huge insight to observe that Lucas was raiding his previous movies for inspiration at every turn.

They wont even try. It won't get ratings to deserve it anyway, but it was probably just always a one-and-done idea. Something to do because its cheap, and we can burn it off over the summer.

That would be great, because it would completely and deservedly fuck over the producers. They're desperately trying to make you feel conflicted and create tension and drama, and from the first second of the decision you're just like "No, why overthink it? 50/50 makes perfect sense. Now what's for lunch?"

"Yahoo… serious… festival… I know those words, but that sentence doesn't make any sense."

You know, if you stopped reporting on him, he'd probably stop talking.
