Late to this party, but did anyone else see Condorman, early 80s Disney action adventure starring Michael Crawford (best known as the Phantom in the Phantom of the Opera)? This was a family favorite, but I only know of one other family that's ever seen it. (Good news, you can buy it on DVD or stream it on Amazon!)

Or SHERDS?

I identify as liberal, but I loathe cable "news." They all exist to confirm biases; that's not a public service to anyone.

Keith Olbermann, anyone? I was sure he was going to die from a coronary on air

When I taught English, we had this sentence frame for summarizing the plot: "somebody wants ____, but _____, so ______." Not sophisticated at all but might be helpful for writing the next movie.

Indeed.

Yeah … *resignedly sighs*

Well, now I have to track that film down.

This guy named Chad was in my broadcasting practicum class in college, and pretty much out of the blue one day said, "a cool person should listen to cool music," and he gave me a mix CD with "New Slang" and Death Cab and

I was absolutely convinced that Sun Kil Moon was a figment of my imagination because I've never met anyone in the wild who's ever heard of them (him?). But "Carry Me, Ohio" from Ghosts of the Great Highway is a song that I wish I could experience again for the first time.

In defense of Rory, as a character/person, (though not her behavior): A good character isn't always a likable character. Her behavior is exactly what I would expect from someone who has been drifting around, rootless, occasionally succeeding but mostly just sort of faffing around. Rory has largely been spared in the

Sheep … nope. Dirty and stupid. I feel worse for eating octopus.

The farmers shoot the plants? That seems like … overkill

Ah, you're the other fan. Hello!
