The ad agency that pitched this must be so pleased.

You could have said no if you wanted to.

HOLY SH!T

Well, I mean it goes without saying that Morrissey's lyrics are great. I noticed that too and I think Marr was very conscious about not pumping Morrissey's tires. He spent more time talking about how much he enjoyed his friendship and how well they got along, rather than talking about how much of a genius Moz is,

Yeah but Gord Downie is God, so…

Relax. I just explained above how I think his comment was taken out of context. His comment was in reference to the way animals are treated and valued in China.

That he's racist for starters. Apparently NME published a story implicating him as being racist, so he sued them for defamation, and won and put out a statement saying that racism has no place in England. The Chinese comment I believe was taken out of context because he was referring to the way animals are treated and

Is he constantly talking about how angry he is? I've only ever noticed him talking about animal rights…

Most misunderstood man in music.

No thanks.

I'm all for Michael Pitt as a young Trump, though I find Michael Pitt quite attractive so I'd be very conflicted if that actually happened.

This is good news for the future. Ticketmaster must fall.

I would be devastated.

Agreed. And why wasn't "Jeanne" included in the final cut thereafter? I swear the decision making for that band was a complete disaster. No wonder they broke up :'(

I hear them in many bands but they're just harder to rip off and harder to process and package into something that's commerically lucrative. I hear them in bands like Ride and American Football to name a few. Maybe they have stayed forever indie. I see what you're saying, though. P.S. I could talk Smiths all day much

Nah I'd say any band that formed in the late '80s early 90s and beyond is influenced by the Smiths whether they know it or not. What Morrissey did for beta/sensitive/intellectual young men everywhere is unprecedented, and Marr helped influence and create entirely new subgenres of music within the "rock" spectrum.

I'm talking about Marr's and Moz's friendship. Fuck Mike Joyce.

I read Morrissey's book in 3 days (Marr's in 4), which is quite an accomplishment I think considering the book is over 600 pages and doesn't have any chapters and reads like one-sided conversation transcript or something. I loved it and laughed and smiled many times.
After reading both books it's clear that a Smiths

Finished reading this yesterday. Overall found it to be positive and motivating; a lot of Marr's philosophies and principles are relatable and you definitely get the impression that Marr is not a shit talker. It does seem though that some aspects of his career in The Smiths were glossed over and there are a lot of
