    Agreed. I actually like it. But the interesting thing is i enjoy it as just a sci if action film with some humor. I don't really think of it as real Star Trek. Just like I can read (or used to anyway) a ST novel and know that it isn't canon.

    I've watched a couple of those fan funded Star Trek episodes on YouTube. The acting isn't great and some of the special effects are wanting, but dammit, man they are specially made for ST fans. It's really a labor of love. The stories and characters are stuff that fans want to see in a Star Trek film. They even get
