"a heroine conference? You mean like a jazz concert?"

The look on Furlong's face when the Congressman from Montana was talking about the 9/11 Memorial was absolutely priceless and hilarious.

That's exactly what I"m thinking. There was a shot of Yara with a Volanti slave in one of the trailers, and now with Dany's fleet being burned it makes sense.

I can't explain my pure joy and happiness at getting two episodes with so much Regular Sized Rudy.

I actually don't think it would be an alternative history. From my understanding, while not widely practiced or used, the theory had been around since the late 1880s. Perhaps not malaria specifically, but as it is a fiction tv show I believe some leeway could be allowed.

Don't you mean Character Actress Margo Martindale?

Well, my work here is done.

Can't decide if the meat grinder from this episode or the continuous stream of pus on the season premiere of The Knick was more disgusting. I think I'm going pus, but this definitely was in contention.

God damn. I just knew Grant was going over that bridge but I DID NOT expect Forrest to go with him. What a finale.

Wow. I did not think this show could get any darker and then bam, it proved me wrong.

The whole first season is on Hulu, which is how I watched it, and I've watched all of the second season on CC website. So, it's out there.

This show is so great. Just noticed on my second viewing of this episode the sign in the back of the conference room scene with Princess Carolyn: "All male reboot of Hocus Pocus called Brocus Pocus." I would totally go see that movie, despite the title.

Gene: Guys, you know what this is right?
Tina: Tuesday? Oh my God it's trash day.
Gene: No, we're a band.

I also just really want LS even though I know on the show it's a pipe dream at this point.

OMG. Complete brain fart when I wrote that about LS and forgetting about Jon's ending. Of course, that makes the most sense for the ending. And you do raise a good point with Varys—I just assumed since they changed that he would stay in Meereen and find Dany.

I don't know about the Kevan epilogue scene being in the show. With Varys in Essos, and having already clearly stated his motivations to Tyrion in the last episode, I don't really see how it would be as big of a deal as it was in the books. I'm still holding out belief in LS. I read an interview with Benioff and Weiss

Ace of Base. Still holds a special place in my heart.

"Her sisters tried everything to bring her back to health: leeches, beaches, screeches. But nothing worked."

"We were pawns."
"I believe you mean prawns."
