These songs owe a lot to the band Goblin and to Italian horror films of the 70s and 80s. Which isn't to speak down about them or anything, it's actually pretty damn awesome that such influences found their way into videogames. I love this series and really wish it weren't 100% dead. Ah well.

It got to #1, so I'd hardly consider that a poor performance.

No "State of Grace" or "Holy Ground" or "Style" or "All You Had to Do Was Stay"? C'mon nah

Ode to My Family or Dreams

I'm Banksy Pynchon, Thomas' son.

Don't you mean a mad man? I 'm pretty sure the name of the show was Mad Men.

I mean, I get that it's important historically or whatever, but the song itself is kind of a snooze. The Phil Daniels stuff does nothing for me, and there are so many better songs on that album. "End of a Century", "Badhead", "Clover Over Dover", "To the End", "This is a Low", etc. "Parklife" isn't a song that's going

Well, Hot Rod had a pretty stupid sounding premise and turned out to be one of the best comedies in ages. I'll go see this.

We get it, you made a compilation that you're proud of. You don't need to spam it over and over.

Except Gorillaz first album came out in 2001, and Think Tank in 2003. "Gene By Gene" and "Crazy Beat" are indefensible.

Oh, "Parklife" and "Country House" both stink too. I don't see this list getting anyone into Blur that isn't already there.

The heck? "On Your Own" is the worst song off the self-titled album, "Turn It Up" is basically b-side quality compared to the rest of MLiR, and you had nothing from their last two albums. Weird list.

A parody of a comedy sketch? We're in Scary Movie territory here. Turn back.

I don't even remember that Rocket Juice & The Moon album coming out. It's mostly a dud. There is one song on there, however, "Poison", which is extremely good. It hits the melancholy Albarn notes that it seems we all like best.

Crazy Beat or On Your Own for my least favorite Blur songs that somehow became singles.

Hoo boy, this is tough.

The producer is the guy who worked on all their stuff minus 13 and Think Tank, actually. Which is why it wound up sounding so much like "classic" Blur.

Add "Clover Over Dover", "He Thought of Cars", "For Tomorrow", and "Blue Jeans" to that list.

The best comedians only make dick and poop jokes. They are they only comedians of worth. Anyone who says they like a comedian with more elaborate or different jokes is clearly only saying that to appear smart.
