I really enjoyed the short time we spent on a ship orbiting Venus on this episode.

I was not terribly clear—I don't think that Naomi acted at all out of character, I meant the "fumble" was not even mentioning this huge moment in the review. And how can you not react to losing possibly both Naomi and Amos for a bit?!

This was a very McCoy scene! But man, could Bones ever sell the shit out of a talking to no one scene with that gravelly inflection and general pessimism. :)

You should see Platoon. I'm not as enamored with it as some, but it's still a solid film. And there's some sweet Keith David action.

All fair points.

What if this sexy soldier sexily beat a sexy confession out of a senior officer, stole that sexy evidence, and then was real sexy during a sexy getaway?

Okay, I agree with you on the last part, with Avasarala (and Earth/UN) needing to gain her trust.

Also, bonus: you get to chill with Avasarala, who is fashionable and isn't lying to you. And she talks to you with that voice.

Again, the government that I pledged my life to killed my squad, tried to kill me (and likely would have finished the job, because I'm the sole living witness to treason, murder, an act of war, etc.), and so on.

As you guys hopefully know, I love Alex. So it pains me to say that… yeah, I wasn't the biggest fan of the Alex-Roci scenes. It wasn't that Alex was talking to the ship, that I liked, it was how all that was happening. And it felt weirdly not like Alex—we saw him goofing off and having fun on his own the last episode,

Everyone's favorite text message. :)

You guys get me. Thank you.

You are my favorite today. Thank you.

I've been playing too much Mass Effect: Andromeda, so I was actually more bothered by her not scanning the room for more items before tricking the guard into getting his head smashed into a wall.

I think it was the evil scientist guy telling that to Prax's daughter… maybe? I'm not sure.

This is… well, it's certainly something. I'm not sure what that something is really, but we have our best people on it, working day and night to figure out what it is we're dealing with here.

I'm sorry, if I found out that my government killed my squad, used me as target practice, killed soldiers from a country we had an unsteady peace with and almost caused a war, lied to me, continued lying to me (and the only person telling me the truth is from another country), tried to tell me about my father and how

While I agree that she likely was going to take a (red) dirt nap, Martens had already tried to kill who she is—a soldier, a leader, etc.

I was so relieved when Amos threw the grenade back into the other room. My first thought was, "Oh shit, he's going to jump on that to save them all…", and I'm not ready to say goodbye to Amos yet.

My favorite part of the review was like, "Man, did Bobbie get weird or what y'all?"—and that sequence didn't bother me one bit, and felt very much in line with what we'd come to learn about Bobbie—sort of declared the episode a fumble… and then, in an actual fumble, didn't say one goddamn word about Naomi leaving
