Very true.

I was a little taken aback by how much the author seemed really shocked by Bobbie's actions. This felt realistic. She was taking back her agency and her identity, after it had been removed over and over. Even that story about her father wasn't entirely right, so she takes that back, she restores an honesty to that

(Weird question—did certain elements of this script feel like holdovers from previous drafts of a script to anyone else? Or related to an episode that got scrapped? As much as I enjoyed Alex's lasagna, and it does tie back to Alex enjoying cooking for the crew, it felt like the result of something, a conversation we

This felt like an episode carried forward more on the inertia built up from the momentum of this season than under its own weight. I wasn't surprised to see that the community had given it a B+ [correction: the grade has improved to an A-], as opposed to the usual variety of As I've grown accustomed to seeing.

This is amazing. Thank you for sharing!

"Alex makes lasagna for Amos and the others, then settles down to wait for them in the Roci. Alex is great."

He's back to being wryly, and very dryly, funny, which is a nice return.

Seconded!

It definitely has some cornball moments, but, strangely, that only endeared it to me more. The strength of the chemistry between the characters helps with the occasional corn.

I had a similar reaction. I would have totally bought, played, and loved Dark Matter the videogame.

I ordered another pair of coveralls!

1) Apologies, I've not read the books (but I started!), so this is likely *a very dumb question* in many of your eyes (and if you have to, please do use the spoiler thingees!); 2) Further apologies, as I'm getting ahead of myself to next week, based only on the scant few clips we saw in the preview…

No, they're not…

I'm only a few hours into the trial, but I haven't had a problem with the writing or the characters. There are some cheesy lines, but, like, hey, Westworld had a fair number of those, too, and it didn't ruin anything for me. I feel like, unsurprisingly, Rock Paper Shotgun wrote that very negative (but wholly

Totally. And while the show kind of was a guilty pleasure of mine at first (it definitely wears its inspirations on its sleeve, and feels early on like the product of writers who adored Firefly and shows like Stargate, Babylon 5, etc., which is not a criticism at all), it really, really comes together (and comes into

Woooooo! Best news I heard all day (as I've been mostly reading the real news and the trending negative-ish reviews of Mass Effect: Andromeda, which breaks my heart… luckily they aren't so bad that I am seriously worried, but it doesn't look like ME:A will be the insane epic that I'd hyped it up in my head to be).

"Do you hear that beeping, too?"

The fact that more people aren't watching The Expanse really puzzles me. This is the gritty sci-fi show I've been wanting ever since BSG went off the rails. The writing and acting is so damn good.

Amen.

I will always upvote any and all Dune references!
