Weirdly, I sort of got the impression Holden wanted to find out if the doctor had discovered where the remaining protomolecule was calling to him from… I thought the gun was mostly for show, but, that said, Holden's not dumb, and the doctor doesn't really fear death.

I just have to say, this was one hell of an episode. It is not easy having to follow the events of last week (there is a Miller-shaped hole in my life and an Eros-shaped crater on Venus), but somehow the cast and crew did exactly that.
