Having read a few books on "the Troubles," I also often return to the IRA when thinking about the OPA/Belter rebels (probably as I'm meant to). Splintered factions with legitimate grievances, a history of violence that colors and complicates (to put it gently, kindly) the call for independence, trying to be a

Amos (murderbot) + Drummer (botmurderer) = "Terminator" gold. (But yes, they should *never ever ever* make another Terminator film.)

She would indeed be a great Lisbeth.

I hope the writers know we're intrigued enough by her to give her a little more screen time/dialogue.

Totally agree.

Dr. Cortizone?

I really want to see the whiteboards in the Expanse's writing room, especially with how they're tracking the tension.

Best line of the night— and perhaps the most telling.

I actually really enjoy this aspect of the show.

I really enjoy that if you want to understand the Belter, you have to search around the internet (and follow a linguist on Twitter). :)

Weirdly, I sort of got the impression Holden wanted to find out if the doctor had discovered where the remaining protomolecule was calling to him from… I thought the gun was mostly for show, but, that said, Holden's not dumb, and the doctor doesn't really fear death.

Frustratingly, I seem to be at the mid-point between yours and Teah-Timeh's poles with Diogo. For whatever reason, I actually like the kid, and think they've done a pretty good job portraying a realistic idea of how Diogo would act in many of the situations he's been put in. And remember, he didn't really much like

I just have to say, this was one hell of an episode. It is not easy having to follow the events of last week (there is a Miller-shaped hole in my life and an Eros-shaped crater on Venus), but somehow the cast and crew did exactly that.

Thanks for reminding me to pre-order Mass Effect: Andromeda! Between that and the Expanse continuing to be incredible, my life is going to be so wonderfully filled with sci-fi.

Guys! I'm trying to work over here, and now you have me looking up Belter patois and hankering for Mass Effect: Andromeda!

For the most part I agree, but I did like the scuffle and the aftermath—gave a moment (a flicker, perhaps) of the kinds of people they are, and the stresses they are under (worried about war, worried that war will prevent Mars from achieving its potential as resources are diverted to war, the tensions between Earthers

Added to the watchlist. Thank you!

Hahahaha. I think you are 100% correct. I suppose in my grief the number of hats at least doubled. [Insert photo of a bemused Captain Kirk engulfed in a sea of hats.]

Hi. Long time listener, first time caller.
