My daughter said the same thing about the Discman bit. A specific generational joke, for sure.

I kind of wish the judge had sentenced Bernie to be Linklater's butler.

Just a run of the mill dragon, you know.
The first Stan Freberg record I heard, was "Nuttin for Christmas." When the burglar came in and split the loot with the kid. Brilliant
RIP

I grew up seeing Charles Pierce on TV quite a bit. He was usually on some show where he pulled off a wig and "It's a MAN, baby!" It's kind of silly, now, but he was all kind of awesome, particularly as Bette Davis.

Also, Kenny Everett.

I loved Star Trek II and IV so much, also, as mentioned earlier, In Search Of… was BS that kicked ass. This sucks.

Dog River

…or did he?
Honestly, that was one of the biggest laughs. My husband, daughter and I like to question other people's sentences like that.

You're obviously among friends, here.

I told my kid I was going to be an awesome grandparent like Pops someday. She said she doubted that. :(

Agreed. I usually get a kick out of Tom's antics, but something about his story made me really annoyed. I wanted to to kick him.

My 12-year-old was so sad last night! She has been binge watching P&R since she discovered it a year ago and now can't believe there won't be more. I'm just glad she has such good taste. Great finale!

I remember enjoying The New Odd Couple. Ron Glass should have a new show.

Yeah. Mama was a total bitch on the Carol Burnett Show. Don't make her nice. This time, she's on a fixed income and has to start selling her pain pills out of her kitchen. You're welcome.

North Carolina authors contributed to a serial, Pete and Shirley, that ran in a newspaper and later published in a book. It really deteriorated by the end. I think someone ended up being a terrorist trying to bomb middle class America.

Elliot, I think, is his name

Also, did you know you can sing Amazing Grace to the tune of pretty much any song ever written?

Yay! another chance to say this: Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil NOT directed by Clint Eastwood. Pretty much anybody who has spent more than a half-hour in the South or read a book set there would be a start.

Loaded Weapon 1?

Rose, who the hell says thrice?
