He was a community organizer, civil-rights lawyer and teacher before pursuing a political career. Then he was elected to the Illinois State Senate in 1996 and to the U.S. Senate in 2004. That's not "plenty" to you? As compared to Trump's long time career as a reality tv show producer and host and owner of companies

Also Trump has zero political experience. Obama had plenty.

Accurate. On both points.

It really doesn't….

I rewatched the animated series the other day and was reminded of how much I loved the awesome little scamp that Harley was in it. She was a tad flirty, but it always came with a kind of "ner ner, loser!" to it.

2016 has been the worst. For godsake would you let us at least find some joy in complaining about it.

See, get more women into film and these problems will go away! I smugly thought as I watched Fury Road rinse the Oscars. We just need more Jenny Beavans, more Colleen Atwoods.
Knowing that a woman designed every one of those appalling assaults to the eyes in Suicide Squad pains me greatly. What can I say except this

Snow White and the Huntsman was not good, but Disney will never top that Evil Queen, who is the only character I'm even vaguely interested in every Snow White retelling anyway.

Winona Ryder now.

Wait, Domhall Gleason played AA Milne?? I hadn't heard this, but it's too perfect!

Thank you. I mostly just feel like I'm watching a discount Jaime Pressly whenever I see her in something.

Trump, is that you?

Do we need to mention Kate McKinnon???

I'm usually the first to join in getting mad at the objectification angle so much media employs towards female actors who despise it, but lets be real here, Robbie don't hate it. She's grabbing onto that image with both hands and making sure it's the one people predominantly know her for. All the upcoming roles she's

Hoping the writing on the show is slowly improving in that regard. It always seemed stupid they tried to make so many of the hosts sing. Unless it's Amy Adams or Anne Hathaway hosting, it's okay to step back from that angle and do something different. Singing isn't funny most of the time, but SNL hasn't been funny

Maybe it was a purposeful joke about her not holding her accent in Suicide Squad.

I feel like they at least subverted it a little more with Hemsworth. Had the person swooning over him at the start an open lesbian, then made sure to dress him up real silly as they sent his hunky image up.

Well I mean that's pretty much her on-screen persona, so I figured they'd just run with that angle. But it was pretty lame they didn't bother to send it up more or even try subverting it a bit in my opinion. Maybe she wasn't into the idea.

Same. It felt like discount Wiig material.

Kate McKinnon is just the best. She's the only one that never fails to get a consistent laugh out of me, even if the material is weak, and I'm a cynical, poe-faced ol' fart.
