I was just going by what Adam and his crew said on the episode. They spent lots of time explaining it to fans but what it boiled down to was that it was just time for a change.

She used to be the news girl on the Adam Carolla show until he let her go at the start of the year. She has her own show and he was on a few weeks ago.
